I believe those two 2011 teams were special. It sucks that the rematch game was what it was. Both teams and everyone watching deserved a better LSU product. I also believe that in any given year of the last 15 those two teams could win the championship every time

Yep. They were damn good. Maybe number 2 and 3 in SEC history behind 2004 AU.

08 Florida, after the fluke 1 point loss to Ole Moss they went on a run no SEC team has equaled before or since and beat every other team they played by at least 2 scores- hell, they didn't even have Harvin in the SEC title game and still won going away after a good fight by Bama for 3 quarters.

Don't see them beating 08 Florida- similar levels of defense but Florida had a much better offense than they did- seriously every offensive starter had at least a stint in the NFL even the scat backs.

2009 Alabama could make an argument.
Being unbeaten doesn't make that squad better than 2011 Bama, imo.
2011 Bama and 2011 LSU in my opinion would win against any other SEC teams in history. They only have a loss because they had to play each other, that shouldn't be held against them. Again, just my opinion.

2010 Auburn gave up almost 25 points a game GET OUT.
2011 Bama for me. Most dominating team I have ever seen.

Sure they could. Clemson qb missed a wide open receiver for the win.

Yeah, but they beat UK on a last minute FG.
Tell me more
14-0
No team could beat them it seems

Not this thread again.
It is always full of stupid.
Where fans try to rationalize why their one loss team was the greatest.
Not even great enough to win all their games in the season but greater than other teams from other seasons and decades.

True, but the 08 Florida team lost to a Houston Nutt coached Ole Miss. The '11 teams annihilated everyone and their only loses were to each other.
