Not enough in state talent to compete. A&M, and this one was an easy choice.

History suggests otherwise. This is what happened the last time we had top notch coaches.

I am not saying that Bielema will be that successful but it would not be unprecedented if he was.

The answer to this is A&M, and it's not close. At all. A&M has better fan support, top-notch recruiting base, equal amount of money, and besides, Texas has no state income tax. Check mate ArKansas.

Arky, and it is not even close. Much better program.

Historically, yes.

Right now? No.

And A&M has the brighter outlook going forward.

I don't hate arkansas, though.

Folks ...lets set aside fro a moment that A&M pushed Arky from 4th to 5th place in the SEC West in just one year.

JMFF, JohnL. Sort of takes some of the cred away, huh?

Just an opinion dude. Not yours . . . mine. When the team starts being compared to LSU/BAMA/FL/GA (heck, even Auburn & Tenn) rather than Arky, I'll pay more attention.

Have any of you who've voted for ArKansas actually been to ArKansas? That's not much there. Not only is it a very infertile recruiting base, it's tough to get top quality out of state recruits. The only recruits they can pull from Texas, Florida, etc. are the ones who were looked over by their state's flagship universities. You can't win without players.

Obviously if the recruiting wunderkids, Petrino and Nutt, couldn't do it...it's impossible.

That's not much in Mississippi either, English major.

Alex Collins had offers from Florida State, Miami and Florida. Ditto for Denver Kirkland. This coaching staff is winning recruiting battles with the likes of Oregon, Oklahoma, Ohio State, Alabama, USC, Texas, etc. Look at our commitments and their offer lists. We are getting some of the best linemen recruits that we have ever gotten and a lot of them. We are going to be good soon.

Not much difference at all between top 5 and top 15 classes.

I am sure a lifetime of such classes as a USCe fan has taught you that.

A&M is the better job for the FUTURE, look forward and this isn't even a discussion. Arky can't play the SEC card for Texas recruits because they have a closer option now. Historically, Arkansas is the better program, but look at the recruiting Sumlin is doing. Our class will blow Arky's out of the water for the 2nd year in a row, and as long as Sumlin is here for the foreseeable future. Deal with it.

most program wins: A&M
higher program winning %: A&M
more conference championships: A&M
more money: A&M
bigger stadium: A&M
better recruiting base: A&M

I think I'll go with A&M.
