Based on what exactly?

By you maybe. I only added it because I got the "He's gonna argue tooth and nail with me." vibe.

Nope. Other things, maybe, but I actually agree with you that they're both better, I just was seeing if you were being a typical bammer.

I don't really care about that, I was just hoping he'd say it one more time.

Rob Lester is the most overrated player on Bamas defense.
Reid is the best defensive player in the SEC.
Lester has good ball skills, but whiffs on a lot of tackles. He shouldn't be in the discussion.
Rambo used to be overrated, but he actually improved a lot last yr.
The only defensive player that might be better than Reid is Clowney if he continues to develop.

This. Has been for a long time.

I would put Clowney and Jarvis Jones ahead of him but he is certainly in the discussion.

I think Reid is overall better. Give me the safety that can walk up and support the run all day.

Nope. He's probably the best coverage Safety in the country. I've heard people say shite like he gets lucky with his INTs. He had 8 in 2010 and looking back you could argue 1 was lucky.
Last year he only had two, but we led the nation in 3 and out D and he dropped at LEAST 4 that he let bounce off of his chest. He always flew in on those balls though. They didn't come right at him. He's a ballhawk.

VERY debatable.

but whiffs on a lot of tackles
He missed a few tackles his first year starting in 2010, but he hardly missed any tackles last year.

The fake Alabama fan holds a player's "star rating" against him the rest of his career. Robert Lester will always be a "middling three star" is his cob web mind. This is also the poster with the brilliant belief that Nick Saban is bad for Alabama.

Probably Reid, but Lester is solid and knows our defense inside and out.
