No love for our undefeated season in 94? What about our 12-1 record in 92? Go back to the Bear days. We started 8-0 in 57 before news came out that he was leaving. Hel, if A&M beats LSU in 12, we goto the SEC title game vs UGA.

I would think UGA technically contended in 2012. They were a few yards away from getting the right to obliterate Note Dame instead of us.

that Cotton Bowl game didn't matter for OU. It definitely means more to Aggy obviously since you can't win a bigger bowl or contend for any kind of championship.

What I do know is that 77-0 still lingers with Aggy. Plus, OU is 19-12 vs you Maroonies.

Record bitch!

Really? An Oklahoma fan is the strict judge of what counts as a national championship? Ok.

Don't see how that works. You won a consolation game that meant nothing for Oklahoma but meant the world to aggy.

aTm wasn't able to win but one Big XII title (1998), but thinks the Big XII sucks. OU has won nine since the start of the conference. Sarge, if losing one game to aTm in 2012 makes us forever aTm's bitch, guess what.... aTm is FOREVER UT's bitch b/c scoreboard. Do you think aTm is forever UT's bitch, or would you like to change your logic?
EDIT: forgot to answer OP's question. The answer is UGA.

Why are there so many OU fans on an SEC board? Don't be upset that the SEC chose us over BlowU. Now run along to the Big12Rant...oh wait

You thought joining the SEC would result into championships

Non-televised A&M games over the last 10 seasons:

2006: 4 (Citadel, UL-Lafayette, Louisiana Tech, Oklahoma State)

2007: 3 (Montana State, UL-Monroe, Nebraska)

2008: 4 (Arkansas State, Oklahoma State, Kansas State, Colorado)

2009: 6 (New Mexico, Utah State, UAB, Texas Tech, Iowa State, Baylor)

2010: 4 (SFA, Louisiana Tech, FIU, Texas Tech)

2011: 1 (Idaho)

2012-2015: 0

Even your team had a non-televised game this year (Akron - PPV only available in your state counts as "non-televised")

I highlight the 2009 season because any conference that would allow one of its member schools to be NON-TELEVISED for half of their season is clearly not looking out for its members' best interests.

It's no coincidence that our interest in joining the SEC started after that season.

The fact of the matter is simple: It took A&M leaving to force the Big 12 to come up with an equitable television deal that benefits all of its members

GEORGIA? won consensus title in 1980, but hasn't contended for once since 1982

They were about 10 seconds away from a BCS championship 2012-13... They would've throttled Notre Dame, if they could've made it past Bama.

I can only speak for myself, but I love SEC football. OU's just my team, and always has been.
okie lite, TCU, Baylor, WVU, Texas Tech, and Texas can all go **** themselves.

I think maybe the original post was just pointing out that it's the same teams that win the SEC usually. In the recent past it's been Alabama (blue blood always there), LSU, Florida and Auburn.

It's just the truth that many SEC teams haven't won a conference championship in decades.

It meant a lot to you when we used it to crush your dicks in on the recruiting trail for years.

Georgia would have won the Title in 2012 had they beat Alabama in Atlanta... and we came very close to doing that.

We also were just one game short of being in the discussion in 2002. Had Georgia beat an 8-5 Ron Zook UF team, we would have been 13-0 and I think we would have gone to the BCS Title game over 12-0 Ohio State who would not have played in a conference championship game.

So twice in the Richt years we had our chances. Were only a play or two away in both of those seasons from playing for the Title.

Of the 5 teams listed UGA is the only one I can realistically see winning a national title any time soon.
