Kick six and its an easy choice for me. It cost Alabama a shot at a 3rd straight title and i personally dont think they would have lost to fsu.

06 Auburn. I almost think even supernatural intervention wouldn't help. That game was as rigged as they come.

Thats always easy to say after the fact. But honestly, we should have never lost to them either.

For Mizzou I would change the 2013 SEC Championship vs Auburn. If we had won we woulda played FSU in the National championship. But Steckel's defense
!
Or perhaps, change the 2007 Big 12 Champ Game. That would have put us against Ohio State for the National cChampionship

I can name 4 games for Mizzou.
First CCG vs OU 2007
SEC CCG vs Auburn (worst defensive game plan ever)
After we beat #1 OU in 2009 we lose games to TTU after being up 14-0 four minutes into the game we somehow lost.
Same season at Nebraska. Gabbert missed about 57 opportunities in deep passes with overthrown balls.
The TTU game is rather irrelevant as the other 3 are program changers, especially vs Auburn. But still it's a game Mizzou always seems to loose every year.

Arky poster reminds me of the obvious answer: 1975 Arkansas, my freshman year at A&M. Undefeated going in and ranked #2, but for TV scheduling A&M played another game after whooping Texas at Thanksgiving (which in my memory had never happened before.) Starting QB was injured in the Texas game. A&M was completely flat and unprepared, and Arky made 'em pay 31-6. I can't even hate on Arkansas for that one since it wasn't close.

2 losses by 2 different teams in the same season: 1998
1st loss: A&M at Texas. Texas misses the field goal and A&M wins 24-23.
2nd loss: SEC title game. Peerless Price drops both TD passes from Tee Martin and Tennessee has to settle for field goals. Bulldogs kick a FG to win 17-16.
That would put A&M in a rematch against Florida State for the first BCS title.

A&m wasn't splitting the 92 national title no matter what after alabama annihilated unbeatable miami in the sugar.
As for the question, 77 notre dame game. Gave them a reason to leapfrog notre dame over us and denied us 3 straight. Notre dame had lost to ole miss that season.
Also
Kick six-we blow fsu out if we play them
1972 orange bowl.
1989 iron bowl

How would that have changed the program? We would still be the same program We are today

We will never know but A&M had numerous players suspended for that game including their best offensive player in Greg Hill.
If they would have won I am sure A&M would have done whatever they could do be declared national champions somewhere

Uh, wut?
The only way to change the identity of Arkansas is to educate rural and small town areas that it's no longer 1863.

If A&M won some of those Cotton Bowls in the early 90's I believe it would have help the program grow even more because the sips were down at the time
A little more success may have kept the sips down and not allow them to rejuvenate their program in the late 90's

Before the SEC: 1984 vs Navy. #2 South Carolina, 9-0 and smelling a national championship went to Annapolis and lost 38-21 to a 4-6-1 Navy team. *bangs head on wall*
Since the SEC: 2013 game vs Tennessee. That one hurt a bunch. If not for that, we would have went against Auburn again to redeem ourselves for the 2010 SEC championship game.

It is now 2016
Only a small part of both of our fanbases actually saw that GOTC in 1969
For Texas we have moved on to other great victories and triumphs so that Arkansas game is not as important as I guess it is for the Hawgs
It will like my son crying about the Bama game in 40 years. I know UT will move on and win again so I do not dwell on that loss.
Difference I guess from a winning program and one who wishes to be a winning program
