Bennett on Beuerlein about which Beuerlein said this:

"When I got up, I saw mouths moving, but I heard no voices."

or Turner on Daniels about which Daniels replied "what sack"?

1,500 posts in 19 years, but all of a sudden, right after CaptDalton gets banned, you are suddenly one of the most active posters on the board.

The reason you don’t see other schools hitting like that is because it’s an automatic ejection for everyone else.

Bennett's hit caused a fumble but the refs gave the ball back to ND. We won 28-10 or something like that around 1985.

Second one seems like forceable contact to the head or neck with helmet.
(However it was Saban/Bama so the referee's averted their eyes.)

October 4, 1986, Alabama linebacker Cornelius "Biscuit" Bennett delivered a bone-jarring hit on Notre Dame quarterback Steve Beuerlein. set the tone for Alabama’s victory over the Fighting Irish (28-10)

The collision was so violent that it literally echoed throughout the stadium, causing a fumble and leaving Beuerlein with a mild concussion.

it was about time we beat their arse.

Mack Wilson knocked Speedy Noil's (aTm) tooth out on a kickoff return.

Clean hit.

A lot of those gifs have disappeared. Have to make your own.

This just made think that we need to have some sort of best and worst alter tournaments. Or maybe we vote on who we think has the most alters or we have everyone submit 5 usernames they think are alters then spit out a report. There's gotta be a way that we can make this into a fantasy league somehow.

the one on Daniels was a beautiful and glorious text book example of what form tackling a puny weakling looks like.

I pick that one.

As a matter of fact its my AVI.
