A&M #7 least gay friendly school.

Every other SEC school is "more gay friendly"

We're not proud of being biggots. The link is demonstrative for this narrow context only.

We're not bigots. There's just very few gays there. I only knew one in 4 years.

These rankings are based on LGBT clubs and how many members there are, which is obviously small there. Not off gay bashing crimes.

Yes I know. I was just preempting what would be the natural progression of the thread considering our adversaries.

Probably before your time, but were you around for the GSSO (Gay Student Services Organization)? They got cranked up my senior year ('79) and the one good thing I'll say about them is they caused me to have a lot more respect for civilians. The GSSO declared "Blue Jean Day" - wear blue jeans to show your support for the GSSO. A couple of the male dorms had thousands of T-shirts printed with "No queer is getting me out of my blue jeans". They were everywhere. Yeah maybe I'm a bigot, but I loved that.

The truth is anything can happen over 25 years. A&M should be better because because it has built in advantages but you never know.

Oh a Heisman runner-up! That is the exact same thing as a freshman Heisman winner who we can use to recruit one of the most talent-laden states for three years.

Not fair, he's white. D-Mac should've won it two years straight. That's racist...

Regarding #11 gayest city in US..Little Rock

quote:

The River Market District is the main gay area, and many businesses that don't advertise as specifically LGBT are friendly and open. The compact city has Backstreet (1021 Jessie Rd.) and U.B.U. (TheAquarium.bizland.com) for the over-18 crowd, and those of legal drinking age can check out SixTen Center Street Bar, TraX, Miss Kitty's/Saloon (all three at TraxNLR.com). But not all LGBT life happens in a bar: According to GayChurch.org, nine of the city's churches advertise as LGBT-friendly. Amen!

Had no idea about LR!!

Bama and LSU fans can see the potential in A&M's future. Arky fans want to ignore that potential.

So true.

Thank God I didn't hear it too often at Kyle Field this year. 58-10.

A&M just never has been anything but a second tier program in Texas. Arkansas fans are more familiar with A&M, its history, and its limits, than any SEC fans. We understand Texas recruiting better than the rest of the league, too.

Sure, a move to the SEC helps. Lucking out with a freak athlete freshman QB helps perception initially and makes you a "hot" program nationally.

Arkansas fans just know A&M is a team we beat much more often than not, for whatever reasons.

If you beat us the next two seasons, you'll be even with us over six seasons of renewed play.

We were in Atlanta for the title game in 1995, when you were still in the SWC. Let see how you do longer term in the SEC.

Auburn had a freak QB for a season and won the BCS. You guys finished 3rd in the west.
