It's gotta be Mateer at OU. I think A&M with Reed is going down the same path as South Carolina with Sellers, just burnt out and apathetic now.
LSU fans have really tried to hate Leavitt, but I think he overcame that last night.

I don’t know how Mateer still has a job. He is dogshit every week.
But no fanbase hates their QB more than Deshaun Watson of the Browns. The fans cheered when he tore his Achilles. That hate goes deep.

From a passing perspective, Sellers was significantly worse yesterday. He had a lower completion percentage, lower ypa, lower passer rating, lower total passing yds, worse TD/Int ratio. Both threw one interception. Mateer had 2 TDs vs 1. From a rushing/scrambling perspective, Mateer was significantly worse yesterday. He had two fumbles vs 0, was sacked 3 times vs 1, lower QBRating, lower ypc, lower total rushing yds.
The cost of Mateer's fumbles was probably the differentiating factor and made his day worse than Sellers'. Both were bad, but neither was close to historically bad, IMO.

As a South Carolina fan it’s not that we hate LS, we just want to know wtf happened to him. We hate Shane Beamer though, oh yeah, we definitely hate his guts.

It could work if you design the offense around his strength as a runner. But if Elko insists on trying to turn him into a pocket passer you're right, it will fail.

As recently as two weeks ago I was reading on TexAgs that Elko was far better than Sark. The Aggie faithful were putting all the blame on their QB and OC. After getting pounded by Kentucky and LSU, they have turned on Elko and calls to fire him are both frequent and permitted by the TexAgs moderators.

It’s pretty funny to see OU fans blame every mistake last year on Mateers thumb, then claim he’s gonna be a monster this year and now want nothing to do with him
