New Orleans is full of Italian Americans. They got treated like crap there. Mississippi surprisingly has a lot too. I would put LA then MS for the south.

I swear half the Mississippi delta is Italian. Especially Greenville. Hell, I’m eating lunch with a coworker from the delta and he’s Italian. Bunch of last names ending in a vowel

BTW, I'm 75% Italian from my mother's side.

Tontitown is home to the annual Tontitown Grape Festival, an August event that precedes the excitement for Razorback football. The Italian food at this festival is world class. This August will be the 123rd Tontitown Grape Festival.

It's always interesting to me to learn about how cultures immigrating to the US can blend their cuisine with the local fare. I'd love to hear about how the Italians who migrated to Arkansas have incorporated the local delicacy of roadkill into their cuisine. Roadkill lasagna? Roadkill parmesan?

There is also a large Lebanese pop here too in Bham.

Former Tide QB/DB and All-American Ed Salem was Lebanese. He later opened 3 restaurants in B'ham, one featuring Lebanese fare (fwiw)

Birmingham has a very large community of Italian and Greek folks.

Well I dated a girl from B'ham years ago, and she was Italian.

So, I guess it checks out.

I know. I lived there and ate my first muffalatta then.

Did takeout at an Italian bar on Veterans in Metarie, they had real pictures on the wall of their baws and famous boxers. They basically let me know, here's your food, now GTFO you don't belong here, and I was like, aight, bye.

Mississippi has the most groups and Alabama is 2nd. Kentucky is 3rd, TN 4th, Texas 5th

Groups vs active members. Arkansas has the most active investigation (members).
