Which Coach Played a Bigger Role?

Ed O and the 2019 undefeated National Champions, considered one of the all time top three college football teams in the history of the sport.
Pete Golding and his 2-1 CFP record. OM made an incredible run after the departure of their HC, defeating a weak Tulane team but also a powerhouse UGA before falling to Miami.
Which coach had more of an impact on their teams success?

Orgeron recruited and signed Burrow, Chase, Jefferson, etc.
Golding was gifted a job he would’ve never been given all because Lane willingly left, so he put on a headset and pretended like he was a head coach while LSU’s assistants did all of the work for him.
Apples and oranges.

Solid argument for Ed O.

All I post are simple, irrefutable facts

Ed O caught lightening in a bottle, but he's the one who caught it.
Hired Brady, recruited a ton of those key players, etc.

Golding will definitely be a better coach at Ole Miss than Yaw Yaw was. Of course, that's the lowest bar imaginable seeing how Yaw Yaw has the worst win/loss record of any Ole Miss coach with 3 or more years on the job. 10-25 overall 3-21 in SEC play
Did Yaw Yaw ever get hired on anywhere after running LSU into the ground? Even as an assistant coach? He was telling everyone from ESPN to podcasters how much he wanted to coach again but it took his old buddy Lane Queefin to throw him a bone a few months ago to even get his non-coaching arse onto a staff. Guy was and is an absolute hack of a coach and an even worse husband. Anyone who chooses to take their staff out to a bar drinking rather than take their wife to her chemo treatment is a POS human being. Lane Queefin isn't far behind in that regard.

Certainly not hard to be a better coach than Ed O was at OM. But that's not the question.

He is positioning himself to be the interm coach at some point when LK leaves or tanks. He is a cockroach, just survives!

And this is the result when folks try and start a decent off season thread. Everyone assumes we are trolling. I'm sincerely interested in what the thoughts are on this question based on the fact that Ed O had been a HC at OM.
BTW, if you notice my thread is on both LSU and OM.....not just OM.

No wonder they love him so much.
Birds of feather and what not.
