LSU's 2013 record is a pretty big question mark that I think will land them in the 13-18 range.

I can see us losing 3 games with all the talent that's going to the NFL..

but I can also see us running the table if Cam Cam is the home run hire that every LSU fan hopes he is.

This says it all. Also, if everyone stays healthy, Cam does a great job calling plays, and the young Dline guys come ready to play. Book it

They fired their D coordinator, let their O coordinator leave, and kept the problem. Tell me again what your point is?

And Chris Faulk, who was injured all year, as well as Brad Wing, who is the freakin punter (who cares - we have Keehn who is just as good).

He's an Ole Miss fan. People do weird things with the "favorite team" logo on this site.

A&M
Florida
@Bama
@Georgia
@Ole Miss

Until I see proof of this supposed "offensive uprising" at LSU under Cameron or a defense that can sustain it's level of play wth so many new starters, nobody will convince LSU gets out of that with less than three losses.

Probably 7.

1) Alabama
2) Texas A&M
3) Ohio State
4) Florida
5) Notre Dame (they don't deserve it, but oh well)
6) Oregon
7) LSU

A&M won't be ranked ahead of OSU or Oregon. Hell, I'll be shocked if OSU doesnt get a number of first place votes. The media LOVES them.

5% shot of losing to Ole Miss.

They almost beat us at home last season, and they return 19 starters with a top-10 recruiting class to boot? I'd say it's 70-30 we beat them. but they have much better than a 5% chance to beat us.

Where was that ole miss "O" in the fourth quarter? When the game was on the line and that rebel "O" could have put LSU away they laid a BIG FAT EGG.

From about the 10:00 minute mark of the fourth quarter till there were nothing but 000s on the clock the reb offense had one first down. Nice pass play to about the tiger 15. On the next three plays they proceeded to lose 2 yards, 11 yards and 7 yards. This set up a 54 yard FG attempt on fourth down. MISSED.

LSU took the ball and drove it down ole miss throat for game winning score.

LSU more talented than ole miss. Defenitely

LSU deeper than ole miss. Not really. LSU was down to about 62 scholarship players avialable for game action by the time our two schools played.

You are right to be skeptical of this. Our offense has struggled under three different coordinators during the Miles era, so we should assume that it won't change a lot until it changes a lot. Still, if there's a silver lining here, it's the same as every other year...it can't get any worse.

You are on much thinner ice here. LSU has consistently replaced tons of great talent on defense with more great talent year after year after year with little or no dropoff in performance, save only for 2008, when the co-coordinators were the issue, not the talent. Assuming the bottom hasn't fallen out of our recruiting over the last two or three years, and there's nothing in the recruiting rankings to suggest it has, we'll have another very good, very talented defense in 2013.

I'm not sure why you put Ole Miss on that list. Sure, they could spring the upset, but there are a handful of other teams on our schedule just as likely to do so. TCU, Auburn, MSU and Arkie are all about as likely as Ole Miss to beat us...which is to say not very.

Of course the big four NC contenders on our schedule are the issue. As usual, the other contenders in the division get an easier road than we do, and our chances of winning the division are thereby reduced. But losing three of the four is, while possible, not the most likely result. I would guess we'll do about the same as we did last year when we had to play four top-ten national title contender-caliber teams and split the games 2-2. Maybe the breaks go our way and we go 3-1 or 4-0 and are in the NC picture. Maybe they go against us and we go 1-3 or 0-4 (or lose one or two of the others), and the worst-case scenario of 8-4 or 9-3 comes to pass.

In order of likelihood of occuring, here are the possible regular season records for LSU, in my opinion:

1. 10-2
2. 9-3
3. 11-1
4. 8-4
5. 12-0
6. Anything worse than 8-4
