I was in the Auburn band. Couldn't rush the field, and we tried the Reverse Rammer Jammer but no one could hear it over the screams and freaking out. So they played Rock 'n Roll Pt. II over the stadium speakers and I screamed "GO TO HELL ALABAMA" with every bit of breath in me

It was like the slowest game of telephone as everybody figured out what happened (with terrible in-stadium cell signal). And then they showed it on the jumbotron. Somebody in the student section scribbled “AUBURN” over their “We Want Bama” sign.

At my then-girlfriend's house. She is a huge Auburn fan and when he ran it all the way back she flipped out and started running around her house and jumping around. Her dad was there too and hugged me repeatedly.

In the upper deck of your shitty stadium. As we lined up for the attempt, my brother, who was a couple of rows in front of me, turned back to look at me for moral support. Having seen our field goal kicking that night, I yelled at him, "They're more likely to score on this than we are."

Twin Peaks in Addison Texas. Place went nuts. I remember thinking that lots of people must be envious of Bama to get a reaction like this in a Dallas bar.

I got a fourth quarter box ticket from my dad's friend. After auburn fumbled with Bama up by 7 I decided to be a respectful and use the ticket so I left my bama section to be in a box with a bunch of Aubs. I bought a souvenir cup on the way cause I was collecting them from SEC stadiums. It turns out that that cup was cursed because from that point in the game bama got a holding call, missed a field goal, allowed Coates TD, and of course got kick 6d in the next few minutes
ETA: Oh and when I was in the box it was hard to view the field because it was so full. So I watched the game on the box TV. It was like 10 seconds behind so I'm watching Griffith kick the ball as the Aubs cheer and I keep thinking holy frick their gonna score

In a sad state of mind. Looking forward to getting hammered, and trying whatever happy hallucinogenic drug I can find that will terminate that part of my memory.
Thank god for 3 straight playoffs, 1 national title, 1 runner-up, 3 straight SEC Championships, and 3 straight IBs though.

In My Living Room in disbelief, I was upset about missing the kick I didnt even realized he returned it until he reached our 40.

Sitting in Williams Brice watching us kick Clemsons arse. Heard rumblings about it throughout the stadium that it happened, then during a tv timeout they showed it on the beast board.
