I was posting in another thread my observations and quick opinions and this is what I thought after watching most every SEC game the last several weeks.

Does playing one bad half against OM defensively make LSU a middle of the pack team?

I do think the Kentucky game next weekend will tell us what LSU has going forward. LSU lacks a true #1 WR and the losses of TreyDez Green, Whit Weeks, and Spears hurts. Defense is nasty when they play pressure. Leavitt's hamstring is causing him to learn to be a pocket passer and not a runner first. Will be anxious to see if he falls back into bad habits at Kroger field next weekend.

I was surprised to see Kamario Taylor look terrible yesterday. Was he injured? You can't give Bama 21 points like that and expect to do anything. Kelon looked great but MSU was just poor. They are not ready for primetime. Bama is looking damn good.

Texas is salty with Arch giving them just enough offense. Their D line is elite and that is an understatement.

UGA looks like UGA. Dudes everywhere.

Tennessee needs to find an offense and fast. Defense is fantastic.

Mizzou is showing what it can be and that is a dynamic team that can play with anyone.

Florida has to be able to run the ball with Baugh and Clark plain and simple as Philo cannot win with his arm.

Auburn has some studs on Defense and a running back for a QB. The boneheaded 4th down call at the end of the game was poor form by Golesh. They need to figure out what a forward pass is and how to throw and complete one.

Vandy will put up a fight, but they have no juice right now.

Kentucky is gritty and they play with confidence. They have a few nice players.

State without Fluff and a healthy Kamario won't win anything.

Arkansas...

ATM needs to feature Rueben Owens and the other 3 running backs and not have Marcel Reed make decisions other than to pull and run.

Ole Miss should spam Chambliss to Deuce and not ever try to run the ball again without Lacy. I'm curious to see how they run the rest of the schedule.

SCar...see Arkansas

The story of the Heupel era. He hasnt made a full team yet

Great Offense and terrible defense:
2021, 2022, 2025

Great Defense and terrible offense:
2024, 2026 so far

Pretty frustrating

Do you think he goes back to Faison or sticks with McIntyre and the run game?

I think Faizon is hurt, and that is probably contributing to all this a little. We probably roll with MacIntyre this next week and continue to rely on our run game. Our RB is as good as any in the country so its not a terrible plan. I just hope Heupel continues not to be afraid to switch our QB if they are being ineffective. We lose if Faizon plays the whole game yesterday

Prior to yesterday, no one had really put pressure on Taylor and he was standing in a clean pocket throwing dimes downfield. Like a lot of QB's, he is completely different when running from pressure. He hurt his foot, but long after the game was decided.

This a joke? There is no way theyre going back to the kid. The backup was much much better all around.
