Let's assume it's even a half way decent game and lives up to the hype for the most part.

Where does it stand with the GOTC's and the FSU-UF in the 90s. The ND-UM in the late 80s. Bama-Florida in the late 2000s. Other great ones you can think of.

However, consider the difference is neither originated in the regular season. Both games were national championships.

literally impossible to know until we see the actual game. If it's 45-3 it's not going to stand anywhere.

Alabama is going to win Clemson is not going to be able to move the ball on a constant basis, I think Clemson scores 7 to 14 UA 21 to 28,Roll Tide we have a secret player Saban went out and got the Water Boy.

if little ol Clemson wins it will be the greatest upset in sports history. David slays Goliath with the GOAT coach.

CU will go down as the greatest team in history.

If Ohio State would hold their end of the bargain then it would be a great rematch. I was hoping for it and see if Meyer could get the best of Saban again.

I have a hard time calling it a true rematch when the personnel is significantly different from the first game.
