As a fan that has admired LSU's and Florida's athletic programs from a distance for staying relevant more often than not in many of the most popular sports since Saban, CUM and Donovan, I wonder if the detractors realize Florida is yet again on the verge of another conference championship. Go Auburn

What is a Disney Gator? I’ve heard that a couple times on here I think.

If that phrase is so superficial it can be narrowed down to a specific fan on the rant. then I overestimated a lot.

It started on swamp 247 and is used there and on Florida Twitter

But it actually started on UGA 247 from the tail end of the Mark Richt years

They called fans “Disney Dawgs” who didn’t see the issues that Richt was facing his last few years

Some UGA fans can expand

Disney gators is a similar term based on those who don’t see how the uaa is trying to destroy major revenue sports in UF in favor for swimming and gymnastics and $500 million dollar stadium kitchens

I have a niece who wants do Gymnastics at Florida in a few years so they must be doing something right.
How have they hurt the football team?

Would you rather have a program contending for directors cups or would you rather concentrate the success to one or two sports?

Plus being cheap on facilities upgrades (and now NIL), the Will Grier fiasco inside job, the stadium kitchen, & countless other things but just those off the top of my head

This ´world´ began to forget it was Oneness, like a dream forgetting it is the dreamer. With this amnesia came the phenomenon we call fear, an expression of All Possibility that cannot manifest within the balance of Oneness. Fear only comes with the illusion of division and separation when consciousness perceives itself as part and not the whole. Fear is the shadow of illusory disconnection.
THEY the draconian “DISNEY gators (reptiles)” are responsible for the alleged kitchen. And the adrenochrome that it serves at lukewarm temperatures.

Those all looked like sensible hires at the time, to be fair.

I don't either but they help shorten the (football) offseasons when they are good. The baseball talent in Florida is great though, so Florida would be remiss to not pump money into it.

This.

Generally used as an insult directed to fans who can't/won't face uncomfortable truths about the program and, instead, choose to go all Pollyanna no matter how bad it gets or how bleak the future looks unless there is a massive course correction.

Outside Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Mississippi, and South Carolina, I’m guessing zero.

LSU is the #1 Baseball supporter in the country and it is still maybe the #6 sport there as far as crowd size goes(5 tops, unsure of their VB attendance).

Yeah just switch uf and UGA and Gators with Dawgs (with each program having their unique set of issues) and it’s the same thing
