I wouldnt exactly call it delusion. Its not delusion to think we re gonna be better than Miss State for a long time. I dont think its far fetched to think we could scare the urine out of some people next year. I call it excitement. We put together a good class, a great class actually.

To my knowledge no one is predicting the sugar bowl next year. Starting threads like this simply brings more attention to something you feel doesnt deserve attention. Think about it for a second.

It wouldn't shock me if Ole Miss had a great season next year. But it also wouldn't shock me if they were a dumpster fire.

They tapped into Arkansas' water supply unfortunately.

It's not delusion.. It's a quiet confidence... I think we go 7-5 this year... But I get the confidence our fans have for the LSU game... I mean, did you watch the Chick-Fil-A Bowl?!?! That team yall fielded looked pretty pathetic... And now a bunch of those turds have jumped ship to get paid... I'm sure Les Miles coaching prowess will carry you to a 10 win season this year though... That guy is one of the best in the business when it comes to coaching major college football while suffering from Downs Syndrome.

"Delusion" or "Illusion" or "Allusion?"

Or would it simply be better put as, "From where did Ole Miss fans arrive at their delusion?"

Actually, the more I thought about it ...

"From where did Ole Miss fans derive their delusion," would probably be Southern Proper and far more apropos.

Most of the Ole Miss fans on here I've seen have predicted 7 or 8 wins. Not really delusion.

LSU can feel the building crumbling around them and are trying to take everyone else with them.

The very real possibility of finishing fourth in the west next year is starting to sink in. A year from now, I expect hourly posts from them about being the most talented four/five-loss SEC team in history.

Well, if you count LSU as a top team in the West, it hardly seems delusional. Ole Miss has won two of the last five in the series, with two of the three losses being within seven points. Take out the anomaly game of 2011 when the team, and more importantly the coaches had quit several weeks earlier, and your post seems farcical.

Alabama on the other hand...

not quite bud... and TAMU is in the same boat as ole miss IMO. mediocre program who thinks they are better than they really are. btw LSU beat both of these schools last year, so be careful with any "witty" remarks

You will be fortunate to beat one of them this coming year.

I bet you have some "homer" type remark for this, but it's the truth that you don't want to admit...

We seemed to have played all the SEC West teams last year. We're off to a good start to beat the top teams in the west. All we need to do is maintain the pace and good things will happen for us.

Nope. Once their stuff starts going downhill, They're gone. Just like they are when losing at halftime...
