re: When UGA 3-peats next year it will be time to consider UGA a blue blood.

When I think of blue blood I think of elite success for a sustained period of time, spanning multiple coaches. UGA is a very good program on a hell of a run, but I don't think they would qualify as a blue blood even with a 3 peat next year.

Oklahoma hasn’t won a natty since 2000 and USC hasn’t since 04. Are you retarded? USC hasn’t been shite in almost 20 years.

By your own methodology USC and Oklahoma aren’t blue bloods.
Even though I think they are because of their overall history.

You know very little about college football
The three I named more than likely wins NCs every decade

So did Alabama lose blue blood status from 1992-2009? Your logic has so many holes it’s laughable.

NC’s have nothing to do with it. Thats just your opinion. Just like my opinion is that blue bloods is based on all time wins.

Michigan has consistently been in yearly national title conversations nearly ever decade since the beginning of their football program.
5+ year stretches without a season with .800 win percentage:
Michigan: 1949-63, 2000-05, 2012-20
Georgia: 1902-10, 1913-19, 1921-26, 1934-40, 1949-58, 1960-65, 1984-91, 1993-2001
Michigan has simply been more consistently competitive throughout history

these are the 3 teams that if you only bet on them to win the NC every decade you would win money
Oh child.

You know very little about football. Neither USC or Oklahoma won nattys the last decade. So by your own logic they wouldn’t be blue blood programs.

Michigan won a co-Championship in 1997. That’s all I have seen them win in my lifetime. If getting close but not winning it all makes a program a blue blood program, then UGA is already a blue blood program. You are not very smart.

You wanna know how I know you don’t know what a blue blood is?
There are people who died a couple years ago at 80 years old who only saw one UGA championship in their lifetime

it takes decades to be a blue blood so no
Posted on 1/28/23 at 11:22 am to diddlydawg7
Yeah and there are people who graduated from college two years ago that have never seen Michigan win one. You are so stupid.

It takes overall program accomplishments to be a blue blood. Every program has had periods of 10 years or more where they have fallen off. You have to look at the overall number of nattys, conference championships, overall wins, winning percentage, overall bowl record, etc.
