This is why you never chant that unless you're certain you're going to win. Not when you tie the game up in the third inning of a baseball game.

From what I read last night from our beat writers it was ULL that started the SEC chant after they went ahead. I'm not sure what this Shreveport Times article is about or who wrote it.

So MSU's travelling baseball fanbase -- which is generally older and pretty baseball savvy -- started an SEC chant in the top of the 3rd in a tie ballgame -- when our starter had been smashed in both of the first two innings?
And people are actually buying that as the logical/realistic sequence of events?

is that worse than Houston chanting overrated at LSU in a game that was tied at 1 in the second inning. A game LSU won 5-1.

Yes. If you watched the game (clearly you didn't) it was obvious. State was putting it to our pitcher pretty good in that inning (5 hits, RBI SF, wild pitch) and after the 3rd run scored to tie it, the SEC chant broke out. Why would the Cajun fans chant SEC after our pitcher blew a 3 run lead in an elimination game? The very next inning we put 3 on the board and mocked the SEC chant with "SBC".
