He has plenty left just not sure how many at Bama. Not sure he has his ego in check enough to keep him from another NFL run. Also could see him going to a place like Texas where 1 NT and being competitive yearly is big money, low pressure and God like.

Great point. Too bad you're 5 years late making it.

Considering LSU beats bama and saban now, I can see it only getting better for LSU once saban is gone.

Well they weren't beating Alabama all that much before Saban was there either, save 2000-2006.

Other than that, they won't be "back" to beating Alabama.

No. I'm saying Auburn is about to go into a 10+ year drought without a winning season. Bama will get a worse coach than Saban. But even a bad coach will consistently beat the train wreck that Auburn will be.

LSU isn't having much difficulty beating Bama WITH Saban, much less without him, considering its 3-3 in the reg season.

That said, Bama will be fine after Saban. The Big6 always find a way eventually.

After Cam Cameron fully installs his offense at LSU, Saban will probably retire.

Seriously, after 3 national championships in the last 4 years, absolutely no one remembers that besides Miami fans. All six of them.

LSU has only won 2 if the last 6 games vs Bama and the discrepancy will continue to get worse for LSU after Bama wins 3 in a row this year. Must be painful for LSU fans to be at one of their best but still just not good enough.

Get use to it. Your going to hear it more and more from the main stream sports media and you'll believe what comes out of Saban's mouth less and less. As an LSU fan while the success is great the constant speculation and lack of firm denial from Saban will get nauseating.

I'll go out on a limb and say Saban remembers it and it doesn't sit well.

Lol

Ooooh, a 33% win % in the last 6 games for LSU, u really got me there. Why'd yu stop at 6?... Why don't we go back 7 or 11 or 14 or so?

I thought this thread was about Saban... I think it's a pretty fair point (and fact have you) in the context of the OP, that he is 3-3 regular season (4-3 overall) vs LSU since becoming Bama's coach.

Why u so defensive? The facts are the facts. Bama is awesome, Saban is awesome, no one is denying that. Just because Bama-LSU has been a coin flip since 2007 shouldn't get your feathers all ruffled ... It is what it is. It's really no surprise the two best programs in college football have a very competitive series going.

God I hope so. I can't wait to get back to those glory years we beat Alabama like 2010 and 2011.

LSU is 3-3 the last 6 regular season games. When did we stop beating you?

Saban's accomplished everything he can in CFB but has one shite stain on his resume. Does he want to go out like that? Don't forget all the highly regarded NFL guys that vouched for him. IMO he should be satisfied. He may be the best CFB in history but that NFL failure is a tough pill to swallow. Props to the guy if he's satisfied with his accomplishments, not an easy thing for guys like him.

I think we're Ok. I'm pretty happy with our 2 crystal balls and 4 SEC titles in the last decade+. We at LSU certainly crave more success(es), but it's not like we haven't been there and done that before as I'm sure we will again. Hell, we're only 17 months removed from LSU's last conference championship, so your notion that "lsu's time has come and passed" is a tad short-sighted.
