it's a good question. Texas is i think #2 overall in all time wins. Of course the old SWC/Big 12 is no SEC but still a pretty impressive record.

Austin is a double edge sword with that sort of thing too. I mean it's an awesome, awesome city but at the same time this place doesn't live and die with the team the way SEC schools, a&m included, do. If I were a player idk which would be more important to me.

Wrong. Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee and Georgia are all in the top 15 all time. No other conference can claim more than 2.
