I don't get it, I was illustrating how much times have changed. Some younger people, a lot probably, have no idea that the confederate flags flew openly without any backlash not so long ago on a very prestigious national sports mag. I found this pic and was surprised myself.

That's a homely group of girls. 1 and 3 don't even look like college girls, they look like middle aged housewives. Mississippi's finest?

it's one thing to be politically correct. it's another to have your university's flag girls and its crowd in the stands all waving confederate flags

This is what killed the Rebel flag. We only have ourselves to blame.

That was pre segregation, was a different time. Trust me I'm not some bleeding heart, but I understand what some did evil stuff under that flag. Yes some of our brethren fought under that flag doesn't make it right or what they believed was wrong at the time. I'm not going to pretend outside of Caucasian race that the flag doesn't offend people either.

The word you're looking for is "integration"

Damn, I guess George Wallace was right about segregation forever at Bama, cause it's still on your mind.

How's the first black student body president in the history of your school working out?

OH wait, he's not. Because he never made it to his inauguration because the vote was rigged so that Bama could say they weren't racist, only to make themselves look 100x more racist in the process.

How many students voted? 200? Seriously, is anything less important than SGA?

FIFY. The first, Cleo Thomas, was elected in 1976.

Don't bother bringing facts into an agurment with an ITATer. Their blind hatred for anything involving the University of Alabama makes them unable to comprehend rational and factual discourse.

Has Vaught-Hemingway actually gotten smaller since this pic was taken? Is that where this is?

Why do you keep coming into these threads? Do you like being shat on by facts?

You understand Auburn has the least diverse student body in the entire conference, ranking more than 2,000 (TWO THOUSAND) spots lower than Alabama nationally?

Well yes, people who aren't white are allowed to play for one.

Another difference, perhaps related- Ole Miss isn't relevant nationally.
