I remember LSU fans saying 2020 would be even better. They won’t admit now but it was said. They’ll blame Covid now and that season didn’t matter but they weren’t talking that shite in the off-season. The reason was the coordinators were young and could think on the fly.
Everybody else knew they would stink and orgeron had pulled a gene chizik.

Went in with no expectations and wound up in contention until they got cock blocked after getting cocky about SC. Beat the West's Champ and runner up with a group of players considered scrubs.
Twas just so awful. IDK how we ever went through it.

I actually enjoyed watching Tennessee last year and hope Hooker gets a shot to start in the NFL.
SC got hot at the end of the year.

SC was on fire against us and Clemson (they basically ran a different offense and it worked well for them) but we also went in taking things for granted, imo. That's the kind of growing pains you expect though when a team isn't quite used to playing for something big at the end. They weren't as locked in they should've been and paid the price but I think it was a lesson learned.
As for Hooker... I do hope he gets his chance. He's def. put in the work for it and is just an all around stand up guy.

Had he not gotten divorced it would have been interesting. The wheels came off completely once that happened.
