If Tennessee is undefeated and Auburn has at least 2 losses. It’s been a long time since that has happened though. And if I remember correctly, the handful of times I’ve pulled for Auburn, the bitches lost.

I’ve also pulled for Tennessee a handful of times. The one I remember is when they played Texas A&M with Frances as the A&M head coach.

LSU against Clemson last year.

OK I did root for LSU in that game because I wanted Bama to be the last school to win back to back nattys. Watching Dabo lose was just a side benefit.

When Alabama played Notre Dame

Was watching in a house of ND fans. I kept telling them they were absolutely fricked before the game started. It was enjoyable

So if MSU and LSU are tied in the SEC standings you wouldnt root for Ole Miss to beat LSU to give MSU sole possession of first place?

I cheered for OU basketball down the stretch in 2018. I liked Trae Young, and I thought it was kind of horseshite that ESPN propped him up so much only to then shite all over him when he had a mid-season slump. Plus I respect Lon Kruger

Oh, and every time Texas A&M or Texas tech played ou. But I guess those were cheering for a rival/former rival against another one

Speaking specifically of '92, I think Alabama's trouncing of Miami was a perfect storm for the Tide. I think the long layoff to prepare (mentally, emotionally, and schematically) for just one game for all the marbles at a venue in SEC territory was a big advantage for a team that was hungry to win.

If Bama had had to go through Florida State in some faraway bowl game just to make it to the championship, I don't think they would have been able to conjure the same mental focus and intensity (in that game or the final if they won) that they did in the Sugar Bowl.

FSU and Miami B2B would have been a tall order.

Anytime a rival plays ND

I'd pull for any SEC school to beat ND except for Auburn. I don't think I could do it. If the game were to happen it'd be a good test for me. I hate no two teams more than I hate ND and AU. Tennessee is such a sad bunch right now that I'd pull for them to beat ND at the moment. During the Fulmer years, or if they ever become competitive again? Not a chance in hell I'd pull for Tennessee. However, watching a depleted UT beat ND wouldn't be a bad thing at all.

When Texas beat unbeatable USC for the 2006 National Title.

Other than that?

Never.

Ever.

Not even once.

I hope all other SEC teams lose, all the time.

I never cheer for rivals until suddenly they show a hot girl in the stands dressed in rival colors and I am like, frick the Gators!

So quite frequently I guess.

Maybe, but Bobby had a poor record in bowls where they had a shot at a title at kickoff.

I cheer for Georgia whenever they play aggy which has only been once since those slack jaws interrupted our conference in 2012. Of course Georgia has been kicking aggy arse since 1980. I basically cheer for anyone that is playing aggy.

I pulled for OM against Arizona in the Super Regional... was hoping that we could defeat OM in the National Championship series and personally crush their hopes and dreams.

I can tell you from experience that is some awesome shite, but it is also very stressful because they can also crush your dreams. The 1996 Championship we won in the Sugar Bowl vs FSU was high drama for sure.
