Not only are you not realizing you were gifted another shot at a team who beat you at home. You didn't win your division nor did you win your conference. Had you not been given that mulligan, this thread would not even exist.

This would hold water if

-Bama was blown out in the first game
-OSU lost to a team relatively comparable to LSU
-Bama beat any team other than the almighty SEC champs
-the championship game was relatively close

As it stands, Alabama lost a close one at home, was clearly #2 behind LSU, and dominated the championship game.

Some other programs may close the gap some, but Bama will remain near the top as long as Saban is healthy.

I think so too.

I'd be very surprised...he's 60, and already done what's to be done.

The last team that dominated and might be considered a "dynasty" was Florida with Myer and Tebow. Bama............... ...................not so much

Jefferson helped win a lot of games for LSU. He had a big part in the first win. Sorry, you can't act as if he wasn't part of the roster.

There was a discussion about that not long ago, comparing UF 2009 seniors and UA 2012 seniors. The UA class might surpass, depending on this season.

Kinda hard for a QB to have a big part in any game that only includes field goals...

Lsu has been right there during Bama's so called " dynasty run", LSU beat Bama in 2010 and 2011. Bama has not been the only dominant team during your "run"

When I think of 'Man amongst boys' I think of Roy Williams in Cotton Bowl (as a LSU fan)...but friggin Tommy Frazier was like Cam on steroids, that kid was amazing.

That Nebraska team AVERAGED 350 YARDS A GAME RUSHING. They are the best team ever. Some posters on here like to say Miami 2001, but that Miami team barely beat some crappy teams. Now if we are talking best collection of talent, then yeah Miami 2001 is definitely top 3, but no one was talking about Miami 2001 until a couple years later when people realized how many first rd draft picks and overall picks that that team produced.

Bama has a nice run going. But it sure isn't a dynasty.

In order to be considered a dynasty you must first dominate your competition over a period of time. How can any Bama fan think for one second that they are dominating their competition? You aren't!!!

For you to have dominated your competition then you sure the hell would have more than one conference championship over the last 12 years.

Hell, the SEC West has had 3 different winners the past 3 years, so Bama hasn't even dominated a 6 team division.

Be grateful for your current run, but quit the ridiculous talk of a dynasty.

Lee was out of his element and Jefferson moved the ball with the option.

I've gotta stop talking to these trolls.

I think in the modern era a dynasty would be 3 NC's in a 5-6 year span and an average of 11+ wins per season over those 5 or 6 years.

So Bama isn't there YET...but are darn close with 48 wins the last 4 years, 2 BCS titles and a Heisman Winner. One more title run in the next couple of years would seal the deal.

Meh, Florida didn't put together a perfect season and Meyer bitched out after an 8-5 season.
