With nothing to play for except pride, why risk injury playing rest of season? I believe Bama loses to OM and Young and company skip bowl games. What are your thoughts?

There will definitely be opt outs. Which is one more thing that Saban really hasn’t had to deal with. It will only add to his disillusionment.

I think Saban will have them ready to beat the Rebs just to avoid Kiffin’s trolling.

Will Anderson started packing it in around February.

Saban looks bored. Has lost his fire imho. Team reflects this attitude. He’s become too mechanical. Kelly flat out outcoached Saban.

Anyway, congratulations to Tiger Nation.

I wish we had a guy mailing it in and producing like he has been.

I don't claim to know him personally or anything but Bryce Young doesn't strike me as the kinda guy to do that.

Kelly knew we didn’t have the depth to go through an OT boat race with Bama. The going for two made so much since. As trivial and what seemed like a gamble was actually an awareness call based on personnel & he stuck it!

Had Taylor came up short by one foot I’d still support his decision based upon the F$U game.

He was touted as Aaron Donald pt 2. Productive - sure. Game-wrecking Heisman candidate - not even close.

I hope they do if that is their attitude in general. Even if they didn't opt out, they aren't going to be preparing and pushing like they should.

Meanwhile, it will be doing the team a favor, let some of these younger guys come in and build on next year. I think they give players 4 games they can play in and still redshirt. Let's put the players who want to play out there.

That's how I feel about it anyway. If anyone wants to opt out, next man up.

How are NIL deals affected if a guy decides to sit out? Anyone know?

I was hoping this would be the silver lining of NIL, which is that in the contracts, the players couldn't opt out or quit playing if they were healthy. If they did, they'd have to pay back a portion, get fined, or lose what's left on the contract.

I mean, it's what pros have to do.

A field goal and two point conversion from being undefeated. Saban’s demise is a bit overblown. If we had not gotten the 2 point conversion our fans would be ripping Kelly for making a terrible decision. People get a little too caught up in the moment. Saban will be fine, but he is going to have to deal with opt-outs for the first time (officially because a lot of players unofficially opted out going back to the Utah bowl game).

5-4. It goes both ways, we could've easily lost to Texas and Texas A&M. The team looks like shite, the coach has become bigger than the program, and it's time for the coach to make some changes. Period.

He’s nowhere close to what he was last season.
21-17.5 sks 31 TFL
22- 7 sks 13 TFL.

Not at all saying that he’s not a phenomenal player but his production is way down.

The packing started in August, Saturday night them bags were all zipped up.

Seriously though other than Bryce, Gibbs, Will and maybe B Branch I don’t think any can afford to sit, they need these last remaining games to try to get something good on tape from this year. Guys like Battle, Ricks, Henry T, J Cohen have lost a lot of money over these last few months.
