I think what he's trying to say is beating Alabama doesn't end well the year after the fact

Okay

When your team loses by 3 TDs in the revenge game like FLA and LSU did, don't come crying to me

See the 09 SEC and 12 BCS title games.

Pretty much. Saban rarely loses, but when he does, he makes it a special point of emphasis to not only win the following year, but to demolish and embarrass. LSU seems to be the only exception to this rule which is why that game has become so great, year after year.

I like your optimism. The crash to earth should be one of the better meltdowns this year.

Enjoy your off-season, aggie. You really don't have a clue what's coming at you, and that's probably best. I only hope there's enough left over to limp into Tiger Stadium after Bama gets through with you. I never pull for the Tide but I am going to enjoy watching Little Johnny get what's coming to him. Just make sure he shows up sober so there are no excuses.

You mean back when A&M was sending most of its students into the military? Face it, A&M was NOT an athletics destination until relatively recently in its history.

The majority of Texas A&M's conference champions was during this period. All of Texas A&M's national championships were before 1940 which is the most successful time in their programs history.

This argument is invalid.

It won't be an excuse, but the fact that they have such an inexperienced offensive line is the reason the game will be won easily.

SWC Championships:

1985, 1986, 1987, 1991, 1992, 1993

That is 6 conference championships in 9 years?

I love the smack talk from a team that finished 5th in the SEC, you would swear the won the NC. A&M has a ways to go when all they can hang their hat on is beating Bama which didnt affect them one bit on their way to the NC.

Since it has become constant, it is more like white noise or something you roll your eyes too.

Being as insecure and needing validation to such a degree as these fans have become, and need, makes the shite talking at this point more comical than anything. Every time i read something here or go out in DFW and hear this kind of chirping, I just find myself listening nad giving no serious kind of response other than, "We'll see."

The smack talk doesn't have jack to do with Bama winning or losing the NC. Most every Aggie WANTED Bama to win it all after we beat them, actually.

This is about all you naysayers that didn't give us a snowball's chance in hell to compete week in and week out anytime soon when we joined the conference. Damn right we're gonna talk all the shite we want now. fricking deal with it.
