Saban typically chooses 1 team to focus on during the offseason to motivate his team. Those teams who get all off-season focus typically get raped the next year.
In 2007, Bama lost to 4 SEC teams. UGA, LSU, MSU and AU. In 2008, Bama crushed UGA, MSU and AU and beat LSU in a close one.
After 2008 loss to UF in the SECCG, the focus was getting back to the Dome to beat UF. Bama drilled UF in 2009.
We didn't lose a game in 2009, so there was no revenge game to focus the team heading into 2010 and we lost 3 games.
Focus heading into 2011 was "Never Again" and AU. Bama beat the breaks off AU.
The 2011 BCSNCG was a chance to avenge the loss to LSU. Final score 21-0.
Focus heading into 2012 was avenging our only loss in 2011 to LSU. Bama got the win at night, in Tiger Stadium.
The record speaks for itself, Bama typically wins and usually by a wide margin these revenge games. TAMU will just add to that record.

You're right they would get destroyed by the UGA team with AJ Green and Knowshon or the UF team with Tebow and a pretty sick D

Just glad this game is at the beginning of the season. Nobody wants to listen to you weirdos all Fall. Hopefully a nice arse-whipping will at least shut y'all up for a few weeks.

There really is nothing very SEC about you guys after all. Weird traditions, LBS, it's just not.. True Southern bluebloods have an elegance that just doesn't apply to your program..
