That's probably why LSU couldn't and didn't win the SEC in 2013 even though they had Zach Mettenberger, Jarvis Landry, O'Dell Beckham Jr and Jeremy Hill...

I was the one who initially disputed your claim to RBU. I'm not jealous becuase Auburn still isn't RBU. Also a 100 carry gulf between the top 2 ballcarriers is pretty significant, but since you didn't give any other team's data, it's my opinion versus yours I guess. Auburn's running back recruiting is no better than any top SEC team's right now, and I'd say over the past 3 years LSU's and Bama's has been significantly better. Finally, this year will tell us if the offense is a "gimmick" or not. Auburn has had the benefit of running Malzahn's offense with a QB who is nearly as dangerous a runner as the actual RBs. Jeremy Johnson is not that. Good luck next year.

Not calling you a liar, but I've never seen this. Whoever said such a thing must not watch football.

Don't really think this is a myth. The truth is You all say your RBU and share the load amongst RB, but you don't.

quote:

that Auburn typically runs one player into the ground during the season

For better or worse, you do. 250-315 carries a season for 1 person IS running someone into the ground....

quote:

Are you jealous of Running Back U?

No. Oh, and here you mention RBU again, so go ahead and take out the non RBs in your statistics and tell us how all them amazing RBs from RBU share the load.

quote:

Are you jealous of Auburn's running back recruiting?

Haha. No. There are 4 schools with better RBs than Auburn....that puts you out of the top 25% in the league.

quote:

Are you jealous of Gus Malzahn's offensive genius?

Not at all. Like our record against the "genius."

quote:

Does it suck to know that Auburn is running the ball, and nobody can stop it?

Only 150 yards rushing against us last season, so pretty sure we stopped it. CAP had 20 carries that game too. Marshall with another 10.

quote:

When will SEC teams figure out this "gimmick, high-school, Mickey Mouse" offense?

We have. Less than 300 yards of offense against us, we didn't let up a point for 56 straight minutes in the game.

UGA is 7-2 vs Auburn in the last 9 games. We've also outscored Auburn 160-52 in the last 4 game. 3/4 games, Auburn has been held to 7 points or fewer. We don't worry about Auburn as much as we do Tennessee, Missouri and Florida nowadays.

Good thing we made those two count. Go back one more year and add another win and another championship.

Yeah there must be 3 or 4 threads a day on this.
