What's up with this lack of respect for Auburn?

We are 5-2, with loses to the #7 and #9 teams in the country. We find ways to win, even though it might not be pretty. Our defense is improving even though our offense has been sputtering the last couple weeks, but that was due to Trotter's inability to pass. What gives? Real answers here, folks. I think great coaching is working wonders with this young team.

People think your D sucks (which it does) and y'all have failed to score points. (Yeah I know it was Trotter but nothing has led me to believe Mosely (sp?) is any better.

We won by 24 points. That is the basis for the lack of respect here. Your team was ranked 15th at that point in time.
I will say that your team seems to pull victories out when I think there is no way it could happen. Coaching? God? Shitty teams on the other side of the field? Dunno why.

i think the off-season nega-talk really hurts the perception of your team's strengths... which, frankly speaking aren't that many. your coaching is probably where you're suffering believe it or not... malzahn excluded. (he may really earn some more proverbial stripes after this weekend with a new QB in if he can settle in and make some passes.)
you got a 3rd rate defense in a division that you need a first rate defense... and you have a 2nd rate offense.
you have 2 more solid L's coming no matter what, and maybe even a third.
people know Auburn's chances at going somewhere this year are minimal at best, so they look smart in saying how bad you are.
also, negative stories carry further than positive ones. people love hating on the previous NC winner, especially when it's still the national perception that you got away with murder with Cam.

honestly...you aren't any good. Your offense is terrible, and despite what you think, your defense sucks. Your defense appears to be playing better because they played florida and south carolina. Don't kid yourself. I know you like to stir it up on here with bs....but the truth is auburn is not that good, and has at least 3 more losses this year. LSU will dominate them without the three starters.

1) You needed a freaking miracle (truth) to beat Utah State
2) You beat a 3-4 MSU team at home by stopping them at the one foot line.
3) Your offense has shown no spark or consistency
4) Your defensive improvement has come at the expense of horrible offense
I think AU has good coaching (very good at some spots) and good talent (very good at some spots), but most people who do not pull for them are able to see them for what they are - a team with only one legit BCS conference QB on roster (and he doesn't start), a weak o-line, weak LB unit, suspect secondary, and a year or two away from being contenders in the West.
Not a flame. You asked for real answers. I gave you one.
