Auburn - they’ve done a good job filling in gaps with the transfer portal and their early schedule isn’t too difficult.
Will they have the depth to make a late run in the SEC? And is Freeze still a good game coach?

Good chance LSU has 4, top 15 teams in the first 6 games.
Top 5 Clemson
Florida will be 2-0 and in top 15 game 3
Ole Miss likely 4-0 (if they beat Arky) game 5
South Carolina likely 5-0 for game 6
Man, if they lose to Clemson in game one ol BK is gonna be in a pressure cooker. He needs to end his 'first game woes' and win one for a change, or you're right, they might have the wheels coming off the chariot early.

I would be surprised if LSU is one of them.

The flavor of the month is OU. Everyone at media days was predicting them as their dark horse title pick. Phil Steele has them as his 8th best team and most improved.
Josh Pate, Greg McElroy, Chris Doering all said last week they have OU in the playoffs and Mateer as their Heisman winner
Almost everyone has them 5-0 heading to Red River
They host a very young Michigan and should be a 7-10 point favorite and then Auburn.
Red River is always a coin flip so if they beat Texas they could be in the drivers seat

OU won't get by Tennessee. They'll lose by 3 TDs.

lol sure. Mateer will have 5 TDs against that D and how will Tenn score?

I'm pretty sure you wrote the same thing this time last year.
UT owns OU. That will never change, certainly not this year.

Didn’t OU beat them last time they played in Knoxville?

I KNOW Missouri won't be one

On a serious note, SC lost ALOT on D.

Will Ole Miss be surprising? They should be after losing some great defensive players, their QB, and playmakers on offense. But I really think they have a shot to go to Atlanta this year.

UT owns OU? Since when?

The front half of the Gamecock's schedule is easy.
This is my pick. I think y'all are a 10-win team this year.

Since 2000, where they've been :checks notes: 1-2 versus Oklahoma.
They're 2-3 all-time against OU, if that isn't dominance I don't know what is.
