No, that’s the initial filing. Read the most recent filing by LSU.

The one where LSU is hoping to have the case dismissed right?

Here's what I saw:

LSU wanted to sign pro players, and the SEC didn't want it and all that.

LSU caved at the last hour and didn't sign the players after a month of grandstanding.

The SEC still kept it's lawsuit rather than just dismissing it then if the SEC was looking for an out.

LSU filed to have the suit dismissed, because they want to end it without being penalized for their actions.

And somehow, LSU is the one winning?

LSU wants to dismiss the lawsuit because they never put ineligible players on their roster

SEC says, lol no. We know as soon as it is dismissed you are going to put RJ Luis on your basketball roster.

LSU says, you can’t prove that

SEC has until October 13 to respond and then we see if a federal judge falls for LSU’s shell game.

That about sums it up?

What’s stupid about it?
That question answers itself.

You were directly told not to do it and continued to do it anyway. The SEC's lawsuit was not their first move.

If you want to pretend like LSU didn't do nothing, be my guest. It's just delusion though.

You’ve got it backwards.
The SEC “rule” came AFTER LSU indicated it would roster the players ruled eligible by judges around the United States.
LSU did not violate any “rule.”
LSU is not caving.
LSU told the SEC to have the vote regarding what LSU did.
The SEC caved and held no vote.
You may not like the facts, but those are the facts.

They are trying to make LSU apologize.

This isn't going to happen.

Yeah, this is delusion. You didn't sign the players and you are the one asking for the lawsuit to be over.

Good luck.

Still where it was. The SEC said quit acting a fool. LSU backed down, the SEC still has them on evaluation.

I have no reason to like or dislike any facts. You do.

The best case for LSU is they get away with it as if they had just followed the rules to start with. Overall you wasted money and your reputation among the league and got nothing in return.

And that is your best case.

Meanwhile the SEC can drop that lawsuit at any point they want.

P.S. What rule did LSU and/or Lane Kiffin violate?

He was told not to pursue these players. He did and got an injunction. A local judge upheld the injunction and the players are eligible. Even though LSU did not roster them they have never said they wouldn’t. The SEC wants a firm no, we will not roster former pros. LSU will not oblige, SEC still pissed. You can still go to jail for just planning a crime.

Why do you say “you”?
I am not LSU. I’m not an LSU fan.
You, however, cannot refute any of the facts I listed above.
LSU violated no “rule.”
The SEC caved.

This is another thing I don't understand about LSU fans.

Why do you all pretend like it's Sankey and not the rest of the SEC schools behind this?

Do you really believe it wouldn't be happening if someone other than Sankey was there? He answers to the schools. If he was doing this rogue, he would have been fired already.

The SEC isn't facing penalties here, and they aren't the ones trying to dismiss a lawsuit.

It's the same thing in meaning.

You didn't list facts.

Believe what you want, it's what I expect from LSU fans anyway. Anyone who cares about the truth has seen the arguments.

You’re a little behind, but you know that.

I must say you’ve become one of the top LSU protagonist here.

The last development was the SEC adding the Louisiana AG and Governor to its suit

If you don’t believe that’s going to be thrown out, I’m not sure what to tell you, buddy
