I don’t believe I’ve called you a “dumb shite”.
Doesn’t sound like me. Hopefully you have me confused with another poster. If I did call you that, I apologize

The last development was the SEC adding the Louisiana AG and Governor to its suit
If you don’t believe that’s going to be thrown out, I’m not sure what to tell you, buddy
Yeah, that doesn't sound like the SEC is backing down.
I have no idea what will happen, I'm only commenting on what I've seen. I don't generally put much faith in the courts anymore.
I just see LSU fricked up big time on this. Wasted time and resources and spent a lot of money while hurting your reputation around the league while getting absolutely nothing out of it.
I'm generally stunned that LSU did this to start with, and even more stunned LSU fans think they are somehow winning in all this.

The SEC looks like a clown in this lawsuit. The Judge is fixing to slap them.
SEC SUED the Gov and AG over a vote the SEC didn't have, and for Rules LSU didn't break.

Agreed, neither side is going to back down now. I don’t understand what Sankey hoped to gain by adding the AG and Governor to their suit.
I’m not sure what other fans think of LSU is a viable point of interest to LSU.
If it begins to harm them financially long term, then I will quickly admit they made a terrible decision.
To me it’s still just a bunch of dick measuring.
My question is this…how does Sankey prove that what LSU did (waiting to roster athletes until the last moment) caused harm to the SEC? Is that financial harm? Harm to the conferences reputation that somehow resulted in the loss of revenue?
There’s going to have to be something concrete (like something happened that we aren’t aware of) before a judge seriously looks at this.

I took it as antagonist anyway. I'm not that either.
I don't have anything against LSU. I lived in Louisiana a few years as a kid, so there was loose connection and I pull for you against most opponents. And not to be rude or anything, but you were basically a free win the majority of my life and now you are mostly a more difficult win.
There are just more LSU fans trolling and saying shite here than normal.

SEC secretly trying to make it all go away.
That's no secret.
It's literally all they were ever trying to do.

My understanding is that the other schools are ultimately pissed off about government involvement in LSU to the point of LSU isn't able to make it's own decisions and the LSU government will use courts and such to try and by pass the rules.
That the Kiffin stuff was more of a symptom rather than the root cause. In so much as it was the governor rather than the school who hired Kiffin and has embolden Kiffin and LSU to do the things that happened with the pro players.
I realize they appoint people to the board and all that, so there is always a government role, but it's supposed to be indirect while in this case it was direct.
And that is why they were added to the suit.
I'm not a lawyer and I have no inside information. This is just what I've gathered from reading about it and hearing others talk. If it was just about the pro players, they could have/would have dropped the suit when LSU complied.

Defending yourself with a routine dismissal motion is not dick measuring.
SEC SUED a member over a vote it didn't have and a rule they didn't break.

I know the governor tossed out two lefties. He didn’t like Tate because of some very left wing views on education BEFORE he came to LSU. I also know that broad from Tennessee apparently donates to national dem politicians. Those things get the hair on the back of my neck standing up. I would think that the makeup of the other chancellors is balanced due to mostly red state locations… but I just don’t know. AD Woodward was a lefty as well, but the governor seems justified due to his track record of disastrously expensive hires.
