Is Deboer not meeting with the guys and the flood gates are open?

Or is he meeting with them and people still streaming out?

Which concerns bama fans more?

By how much would a Sam Pittman led bama team beat a Sam Pittman led Arkansas team?

Alabama NIL collective was an equal pay system. The decent pay combined with Nick kept these guys there.

Without Nick, they are keeping the equal pay system.

Almost of all of these guys wanted to play for Nick.

DeBoer really had no chance to keep them, especially when they wont match NIL offers from other team.

Dont think they will until they prove it does not work. So few years?

Could be rocky for sure.

Most guys came here for Saban, and Saban is gone. Plus the staff is almost completely overhauled. They're just going to new opportunities. Best of luck to all of them, I say.

Not with that toxic culture of quitting you have there in Tuscaloosa. You sure Alabama's players aren't all French?

I would assume only the ones from LA?

We actually did not have that many from LA this year

Is Alabama the only* program that does equal pay system. I can see why it’s better to go equal pay for team stability and unity. At this level having some players make way more than others can be detrimental to team chemistry no? Also isn’t each player’s performance in many ways dependent on each other? For ex should a RB get more money than his OL since the OL has an impact on the RB’s performance? Hence it’s better to do equal pay at this level and allow players to negotiate together aka collective bargaining.

I guess it depends on what philosophy you believe in. The rising tide lifts all boats where the team is united in terms of compensation vs the more cut throat f u I want mine approach where it’s every player for themselves.

Right, turns out they're all a bunch of quitters, not just the ones from Louisiana.

It's looking like no one wants to play in that toxic culture you have there.

I dont know the answer to that, I am assuming we were not the only ones.

It worked until it didn't. So hard to say what the right way is.

Let me reiterate the collective is an equal pay system. They still allow individual players to get their own NIL deals and even encourage them to do so. But being directly from the collective is equal.

They did not commit to him. They do not know him. It's the same reason all of his players left Washington.

Saban retired after the 2024 class were enrolled and attending class thinking it would help the next coach keep them. It did not.
