Also the 2012 SECCG. Not because I thought we were the better team, but it was such a great game that it took a couple hours to process everything. What a fantastic ending, even if it didn't go our way.

Pick a Kentucky vs MSU basketball game at the hump during Stands era. Roberts' block then Kentucky put back...... Wall's airball then cousins' put back....God those fricking sucked

Not a loss in the end, but that moment when I looked at the scoreboard at halftime and it read:

LSU - 3
I just remember thinking "there is no way this is happening"

With hindsight, probably Oklahoma 2 years ago. Trevor Knight lit us up and then proceeded to have a very unremarkable season the next year. Of all the teams for him to have a career game against, it wasn't Iowa State or Tennessee. It was us in a season where I thought Alabama would cement its dynasty status.

Spent the day with my Dad in NOLA. Randomly ran into two of his HS buddies that tons of his stories from back then are based around. He's not one to seek those friends out anymore so it was great to see him run into them and reminisce.
Ate lunch at Palace Café that my girlfriend-now wife-was nice enough to send a gift certificate to pick up the check for.
Walked up and down Bourbon and throughout the French Quarter. Enjoyed one of the single greatest days of my life with my Dad.
Then watched without question the most galling, gut-wrenching, most complete and total defeat of the one team in organized sport that I love more than any other. In their single greatest, most dominant season in their history.
Was so bittersweet convincing my Dad to stay until the end. I wanted to soak in every second of the experience because in a sense, the outcome was shockingly bad and yet, I sort've didn't want the day to end regardless of how incredibly sobering the outcome on the field was.
I'm not sure how many more games my Dad has in his life, but we were in the Dome for two National Championship Games where LSU was on the field and Nick Saban was the coach. If nothing else, we saw the first one in almost 50 years back in 2003. But somehow, 010912 was more poignant because I'm not sure if I'll ever enjoy a season, or a day, or my father's company like that ever again.
010912 and 21-0 definitely gets my vote.
