Just curious is this normal down south? I live in Indiana and our gov doesn’t get involved. No disrespect just find it odd that’s all.
This is what pisses me off about media in general. One bobblehead media guy (Finebaum) says the governor has his hand too deep in the LSU jar and now all the other media run with it.
There is zero evidence of this. This is actually the first time in a quite a few years where the governor is supportive of LSU athletics. The last governor wasn't - mfer threatened to take LSU football away from fans lmao
Landry is not "so involved" in LSU athletics - he's just supportive - that's all. That whole charade by the media/Finebaum was a "world vs Kiffin" moment they used for clicks/views.
ETA: I don't mean to say Landry doesn't use LSU's popularity to show his face on TV. He definitely does that and I wish he would stop. But that's all it is - a politician being a politician.
