You are correct. We were wrong. Of course he did put on a 5 year redemption story including an ESPN documentary to try to show us all how much he had changed. But he never changed.

Legitimately everything about the guy over the past 6 months looks to have been paid propaganda.

No joke. I have waited my entire life for just one season like this. And of course it goes like this. I will hate him forever.

Frick Ole Miss and their easy arse SEC schedule

It's pretty evident that Ole Miss has tried everything in its power to hold on to Kiffin but there's not a single SEC program that would allow their coach to coach the playoffs if they were hired by another conference school. This national narrative to punish Ole Miss is just wrong. Now we have Rece Davis basically pushing Yurachek to ding Ole Miss and we've already fallen behind two teams in the CFP poll because of the circus. Why the frick is Rece fricking Davis out to get us? And has Kiffin spoken out for his players in all of this? No he hasn't. Have fun with Kiffin, Gators or Tigers. He's a piece of shite.
The committee is trying to box Kiffin in here. They are signaling that Kiffin is doing direct and willful harm to the school he is contractually obligated to.
In doing so, they are creating a situation in which any coach doing this in the future will likely be subject to of legal liability willful gross negligence and breach of contract. .

You knew lane's history when you hired him.
Btw I don't want this flake at LSU.

Calm down, Erin Brockovich.

Many of their fans have made it hard to feel bad for them.

Don’t feel bad for ole miss at all… but how awkward will it be if he stays?? I’m sure some fans will have a bitter taste. But if he is winning, who cares?

Going from a G5 team to P4 team is not the same as going to a conference rival in the P4. No SEC team would allow the coach to coach the playoffs. It's different and don't act like it isn't. We aren't going to be trying to steal Tulane players, bro.
Um, it’s the exact same thing irrespective of how you are trying to spin it.
Tulane’s berth in the playoff is just as important to Tulane fans as OM’s is to you.

It’s not the same and you know it.

Meh- this is a complex matter and I have no idea what would happen but I find it fascinating in a way. The committee knows what they are doing and they have now provided a totally unexpected but clear and public signal that any reasonable person would infer that any further progression down this path will cost Ole Miss.
I expected the committee to leave it alone and keep OM at 6 or better unless they lost. That’s not what they decided to do.

I’m not sure he’s gone yet. I think he’s looking at the manure show that is LSU with the “Guh-nah” sticking his nose into things and the BK payoff fiasco and thinking, “Is this what I want?”. I see him going to Florida before Baton Rouge. One report out tonight says he’s staying in Oxford since it is in his best interests in the long term. We will see won’t we?
As a side note, Arkansas fans are giving LSU heartfelt thank you’s for replacing them as the number one clown show in college football today.
