Isn't Bob Stoops coaching the Dallas team?

If so, not them.

What XFL Team Will Be The Official Team Of SECrant

Not as easy to pick this time really. Four teams are located in SEC states, but only Tampa Bay's team is located in a state associated with the SEC for more than 7 years.

Now, the original XFL's "SEC team" was clearly the Birmingham 'Bolts, with their location in the same city as the SEC's office and coach Gerry DiNardo, who had been head coach at both Vandy and LSU. Also, one of the DiNardo's assistants was Curley Hallman, who had been an LSU head coach too.

Houston - 13 former SEC players on the roster

Sammie Coates probably the most well known one of them.

Well, it can't be a yankee team that's in Missouri, so St Louis is out.

Dallas is less likable than Houston.

Houston's not far from home and more centrally located than Dallas in the South.

So... Houston?

In what fvcking world is Dallas less likable than Houston? Have you ever been to Houston? Even their part of the ocean looks like a muddy pond. I would venture to say Houston is the worst large town in Texas. I guess its ahead of El Paso but definitely behind San Antonio, Austin and Dallas. As for who i would root for, probably depends on which team has the most washed out or never drafted players i liked the most in college.

The AAF just tried that and failed

The AAF failed because the main investor decided to just stop one day and cash out. It was a very poor and damn near criminal business plan. It had nothing to do with where the teams were located.

Are they going to have a 7 game season or play each other twice for an even 14?
