Franklin/ Peterson/ Frost in that order
Seems like it could be hard to pry Franklin from PSU to UT.
I've seen some rumblings that Patterson has interest.
If UF hires Kelly, Frost may be interested and obtainable.

Franklin is not leaving Penn State.
Frost has mamma calling
Pissed off Patterson the last time
Better hope Merlins is interesting or Vols up shite creek.

Gruden is Lucy pulling the ball away from Tennessee's Charlie Brown. Them dumb arse Vols never learn.

Man I hope UT hires a coach who hasn't coached since 2008.

Dude, if you actually think that no Gruden would affect me, then you simply don't get it.
I've participated in the Grumors because it's fun, I've said from the beginning that Gruden is a ridiculous pipe dream. Grumors are GREAT internet, and if you disagree, then you're an uptight bitch who needs therapy.
And maybe I got sucked into the Gruther's realm a little bit, and started to think "well maybe ".
But at no time was I EVER "all in". The ONLY reason why I wanted Gruden to happen was for the UNPRECEDENTED troll potential for the next 10 months.
Can you imagine it, Muh GOD, it would be beautiful. I've got chills just picturing the memes.

He said "Petersen". But I agree with you on those other 3.
Petersen has been my number 1 from the beginning.
I would crawl through a hundred miles of broken glass, up through the Great Smokey Mountains, in a blizzard, BUTT NAKED, for Petersen.
It'll never happen, I know. But if we're gonna throw $6-8 Million at a coach, as has been reported, he's the ONLY ONE that is worth every penny of it.

The annual UT courting of Gruden is a great tradition in the SEC. Heck, all of college football.
Here, it just means more.

Petersen isn't leaving the NW
Patterson is interesting - he's been in contact with A&M as well
Frost is probably going to Nebraska
Fisher is talking to A&M, and appears to be Woodward's first target
Chip Kelly is up for essentially any job except for A&M - we won't hire him
Franklin isn't leaving PSU
It will be an interesting next few weeks

Key criteria that Currie stated -- HC, SEC & championship experience -- point to Mullen.

And here's something else to keep in mind:
It is entirely possible that Currie made a legit offer to Gruden weeks ago (just so he could say he tried to the fanbase), Gruden politely declines.
And then Gruden agrees to run interference by not publicly announcing that he's not interested, and keep the fans and the media chasing Grumors while Currie works on legit candidates.
If I were Currie, that's exactly what I would do if Gruden said no.

Is Gary Patterson seriously interested?
He has Fulmer in his corner and Fulmer has pushed hard for him. I know that much. I don't know if that's because GP is interested, because Fulmer thinks he's a damn good coach, or if it's both. I've also heard that Johnny Majors really likes Patterson too so it seems that Majors and Fulmer can agree on at least one thing.
