I doubt you see much if any melting. The real melt will come when VOLS steal Merlins from tGrind, which is what will happen if Gruden rejects

Volquest has pretty much stated that he has let Currie know he's interested. VQ said this morning that if Gruden does not happen, Mullen and VOLS will likely formally meet the day after Thanksgiving.
Supposedly, Currie wants a yes or no from Gruden by this weekend. If no, then expect the Mullen to VOLS thing to really heat up

I'm not as out on him as most but it is kinda boring compared to Gruden lol. It would really come down to what staff he brings imo

I don't think tRANT realizes the reason VOLS have a raging Grud-on: the hire and results would undoubtedly be entertaining.
I'm pretty sure we all agree that there is no guarantee that Gruden would be tGOAT CFB HC, but we want him anyway for the lulz.

I mean I don’t think he’d elevate us back to 90’s VOLS, Mullen would essentially be early 2000’s Fulmer imo.

He already did and to be honest with you its probably for the best. Gruden at Tenn. would be like Callahan at Nebraska or Weiss at ND. Square peg round whole
