What will be your reaction if TUA doesn't start first game of 2018?

Maybe too soon, but I thought it would be good topic of discussion this morning. Honestly, I think there would be an epic melt.

If Georgia had been the semifinal and Alabama had to play last night, I'd bet money that Hurts would have started. In spite of the Georgia game, Saban would go back to his starter.

Now, after going through the spring, it could be a different story.

My reaction? I'll be hoping Alabama isn't saving him for after halftime of the SECCG against us.

My thought is that unless Tua turns out to be a drug dealer or he has an epic regression as in having a mental block throwing the ball, Saban will *have* to start him.

Jalen will probably start letting the ball fly now. What's he got to lose- his job. Maybe he's a better passer than we know and has just been afraid to turn the ball over. Tua might not look the same to us come September. I don't see him being allowed to operate with reckless abandon like he did in the NCG. But sometimes you have to let a guy go to win and the NCG was that time.

Yep. He damn sure wouldn't sit on the bench most of another year, behind a guy that isn't near as good, and I would note blame him one bit.
