Thank God UK changed, the wildcat didnt translate well to apparell and memoribilia... everything looked like walmart shirts.
Was just what I was going to post. I do like UK's logo, but wish they would go back to the K on the football helmets.

I was sad when they retired Bama's:

I liked the old circle-y UF logo with the gator on top and state outline on the bottom. But yeah, the curret Gator head was still kinda new, intro'd AFTER the 96 Championship. I'll have to add that to the OP
We started using the gator head at least in 95.

I was hoping UK would go with the power K after dumping that god-awful orangish Wildcat logo. The new logo is okay but it's kind of just neutral.

Nothing wrong with the UK logo. Clean and simple.

I still hate we got rid of the Colonel Reb logo. Was our best logo.

I don't think Texas A&M's beveled logo fits in the SEC. It was really more of a Big 12 fad.
We still use the Classic Block aTm logo on merchandise and more importantly on the helmet.
Between September 2012 and March 2013 the following letter was sent to the leadership of Texas A&M. I don't know how any Aggie can read this letter in its entirety and decide that the beveled logo is our very best option as our primary mark. Our logo is vitally important – it is the fundamental building block of our branding and marketing program. The Classic Block aTm captures the essence of our image in its simplest and purest form. Continuing to use the beveled logo doesn't make it less flawed or any more acceptable. Names and contact information in this letter have been obscured for privacy; the content is what is most important. For cell phone users the letter will probably be easier to read here... NoBevel.com
Here is the SEC vs Big 12 Page. The rest of the letter is at NoBevel.com.

the irony here is....
of all the above logos... the A&M bevel featured the LEAST amount of overall change.

Two best logos in the SEC. I loved these because it looks like they are the same proportion. It just enhances the rivalry.
