toonces was a terrible move by the school. i like the font but toonces should have been dead years ago. us and uga clearly shite the bed on logos, id say ours is the worst but then you have ole miss who killed off col. reb and even tounces beats rebel blackbear.
i like all the uf logos, the gator in the sweater is badass and so is the one sitting on the state but the gator head also looks awesome.

Does Tennessee still use their interlocking baseball hats? Those looked great

Nope...I loved them, but the story is that UT never registered the trademark. Texas picked up the logo, trademarked it, then sued UT to keep them from using it as a primary logo.
Ironically...Texas has been using a new logo on merchandise for the last few years.
Look familiar???

I think Mississippi State's new "M-State" is very clean, and a GREAT update. I think Ole Miss getting rid of Colonel Reb is a travesty--it was the most classic and unique logo in college football.
Alabama's current 'primary' with the script A inside the circle is a great improvement over the 10 or so years with that cartoon elephant. Glad to see we moved on, where as our brothers on the plains still like their "Tiger Eyes" logo.
The best logos IMO are the classic ones--Alabama's old Elephant through the A, as well as their old script 'A'. The walking bulldog at MSU; Colonel Reb at Ole, Miss; UGA's old Bulldog Head, USCe's gamecock, etc...
However, not all new was bad. LSU's "LSU" font is as sharp and Iconic as it gets--especially for fans who live and die by chanting the same 3 letters over, and over. It gives them a great seal. I think UF's current logo is still pretty sharp.
Overall, most of the logo changes are hit and miss. My only request is that we stop with these new uniform debacles. In 10 years when some of these games are 'classic re-runs' on FSN, you'll be watching and be in disgust of the ridiculous designs that run out of the tunnels *Looks directly at Scott Stricklin*

any one care to explain the ice cream, Au logo and the weird Eeyore expression?
It's a glass of champagne, not ice cream. If I'm not mistaken it was introduced the first year of SEC and Bama won SEC title. BigAL had a glass of champagne in celebration. The logo was used for several years during the '30s I believe. I did see one site list the time frame somewhere in the 50's but I'm fairly certain that is incorrect.

I thought our logo was a great improvement, although the logo is not really new because past Vandy teams have used the Star logo (without the "V" inside). I wouldn't trade it for anything.

I'm pretty sure SCAR has had the same logo for close to 100 years, so no Gamecock fans can relate to these logo change issues. We cannot imagine ...
Eta: Oh, wait, the interlocking SC on the baseball caps in 1998. Yeah, we liked those or, at least, I did. I cannot speak for everyone else.

I have no doubt that is completely true.
