What was the significance of "Daddy" caps and that weird mink coat from Goodwill?

The hat was to falsely indicate that the player that hitthe homerun was somehow the father of the opposing pitcher. The mink coat was intended to remind folks that tennessee hates members of the rodentia family.

Undue arrogance and a lack of leadership from the coaches

The daddy caps were to remind people that Tennessee donates so much money and time to helping orphaned children that the children lovingly refer to them as “daddy”, and the mink coat was simply to keep them warm during the frigid SEC summer days, not to show off or anything

-Tony ViteLLo at his poor little ole me press conference yesterday

Obviously not the second part but what did he say about daddy hat and what did he say in his presser?

I’m not sure if he even brought up the daddy hat, the first 2 minutes or so was him gaslighting everyone about how much adversity Tennessee had to go through and how people were falsely accusing a player of flipping off the opposing team, etc. Just a total lying prick

Dont know

I think that Vitello thinks he's being kind of like Lane Kiffin, Mike Leach and Old Ball Coach, and he's not even in the same universe

They all joke from a place of self confidence whereas Vitello exudes insecurity.

Probably similar to grabbing a 1980s boom box.

It was said during our game yesterday, that the NCAA was going to prohibit "Props" outside of the dugout. I hope not, kinda fun.

When you live in dirt floor shanties rodents can be a problem. It's understandable why 10RC fans would hate them.
