This was the best. Declaring themselves champions at 8-0 was awesome. Stating they were back bc they were undefeated in October. Stating they came back to their “rightful” place in college football even though they have 1 national title in 60 years. Stating they are “back” despite this being an anomaly and they lose 80% of their team and their 30 year old QB. It is still delicious.

That's the funny part about all this. They actually think we're not happy, actually overjoyed, with the way this season is turning out.

You left out the best part:
The fact that every other fanbase lets the Vols live rent free in their heads.
This is year 2 of a total rebuild. Last year the Vols were 20 something scholarships down and in one offseason they are already looking at making the championship invitational tournament. Imagine what Huepel will do with players he recruited in a couple years of an established system.

Right? We lost 1,000,000 players to the draft and rebuilt in the offseason.
Shiiiit. LSU rebuilt after the Tennessee loss. We should all aspire to that standard. UT has a lot to learn from us all.

The coolest part is where we still make the playoffs after winning out and then beating UGA way worse than they beat us....kind of like UGA and Bama last year.
