one of the worst mismatches I have ever seen in a big bowl game

You could tell from the stands in pre-game warmups. They looked like a high school team by comparison

According to my dad, this one was much worse than the score (27-3)

The LSU annihilation and absolute humiliation of ND is a good one.

1/9/12…Bama Defense beatdown of whatever LSU called that offense…it was a serious beatdown. We could not do jack shite.

When a 9-0 score at halftime seems like some insurmountable lead, you know you got your arse kicked from the jump.

LSU going on a 35 to 8 point run against Clemson to win the national championship and cement themselves as the undisputed, greatest college football team of all-time
Took a mercy knee at the 1 to end it too.

I was there for that Minnesota beat down...Saints took a 10-0 lead in that one, then got outscored 44-0.

Was there for Bama-Miami 1993.

Saw Florida kill West Virginia in the 1994 Sugar Bowl.

On another note, I got to see Joe Pa win his first title over UGA in 1982/83. The funny part was LSU was playing Nebraska in the Orange Bowl at the same time, and some LSU fan had one of those old B&W portable TVs that we were all watching. That was a great game by LSU, reminiscent of the USC game in Tiger Stadium in 1979.

I’ve been to a lot of games in the Superdome, and that Hawaii-Georgia Sugar Bowl was the biggest mismatch/beat down I’ve witnessed. Total mismatch

Was there and it was glorious. Drew set the pass TD record and the colts didn’t score until about 30 seconds left in the game. Complete arse kicking. However I’m surprised no one has mentioned LSU-Notre Dame in the 2006 Sugarbowl we annihilated those condescending jackasses.
