Wow I didn’t realize Scherzer had that many punch outs. 11th all time is ridiculous

What year was it LSU Baseball got knocked out the UCLA Regional with their 1st Round Pitcher?? Think they had another highly ranked Pitcher as well....kinda like AE for LSU now

I believe that was 2010. Trevor Bauer carved us up in the winners bracket game. He was the 3rd overall pick in 2011 while Gerrit Cole was selected 1st overall that same draft
I’ve been a few times for work. Nicest people I’ve ever interacted with. Manila is ridiculously crowded and they have some very nice/wealthy areas in the city that I enjoyed, but the poverty is all around. The traffic is an absolute nightmare.

I’ve had a few days to spare on two separate occasions to go to some beaches/resorts on various islands. They’re unreal. The Philippines is also, as one can imagine, extremely cheap. It gets hot as hell and central a/c isn’t a thing there. I enjoy some of the foods (lechon and sisig) but is overall unhealthy.

I’d recommend visiting a resort/beaches over there if ever in SE Asia.
Also, if you have the time, look into taking the train from Interlaken to Bern. It’s only a 45 minute train ride. We enjoyed a few hours in the city and stopped in a few other towns in between Bern and Interlaken (Airbnb was in Spiez).
The rail system is really easy to navigate in both Italy and Switzerland. You’re going to love the trip

il gatto nero had good food and a beautiful view. It’s on the fancier side, so a little pricey. Other than that, pretty much every little restaurant we went to was very reasonably priced and everything we ate was fantastic.

I think joker gears up for one last slam maybe holds off for the U.S. Open since that's his favorite.

Djokovic has “only” won the U.S. Open 4 times.
He’s won the Aussie Open 10 times and Wimbledon 7 times. He’s also been the best clay court player outside of Nadal the last 15 years. I think he’ll make deep runs at the next three majors, but I’m not sure if he’ll able to win one. I’d say French or Wimbledon will be his best bet if he’s healthy
The 30 for 30 documentary ‘Fantastic Lies’ about this case/story is really good

Berchtesgaden is beautiful. A trip to Hitler's Eagles Nest is worth it.

We went in October and was amazing. We were lucky enough to have clear enough skies for a great view as well
I think he’s a projected 4th rounder. Could be wrong. Really hope he comes back
I’ve never been to their stadium personally, but I’ve always thought it looked good on television
Sinner was in good form before he got hurt. I wouldn’t expect Rafa to do anything in what’s probably his last French especially with Zverev in RD 1. Djokovic hasn’t played a lot, and Sinner and Alcaraz have been hurt.

This could be the major where Zverev breaks through, but he always chokes in grand slams. Should be an interesting tournament. Still wouldn’t be shocked if Djokovic pulls it out though
From an interview I watched last season, Skenes said he got it from Hurd doing it last fall and then a few other guys started doing it as well
I heard from someone that when the victim fell he hit his head on the concrete
Sabalenka's boyfriend of three years jumped from his hotel balcony last night in Miami and killed himself. She was out practicing today and still plans on playing the tournament.

Tragic news
Florida fans,

Is there a reason why Caglianone is the Sunday guy? Are the Friday and Saturday guys better than him? I know he had a little control issue in the championship last year but obviously has great stuff. Surprised to see Fisher in the Friday slot instead of him
I’d like to see Creighton win it all. I used to love watching them when Doug McDermott was there.

UConn has to be the favorite, and if I was a betting man that’s who I’d put my money on. I know that’s not going out on a limb, but from the couple times I’ve watched them they’ve looked solid.

I’d like to see Indiana St. make a little run as well and bring back a little Larry Bird magic
