2007 Florida. The game that brought you the Wes Byrum Gator Chomp and " Senator"' Lou Holtz.

Here's a link to the video with Lou Holtz "announcing" his run LINK

For me, I'd have to say our game vs. #5 Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1965....unranked UGA made the trip north and beat the #5 Wolverines, 15-7.

And it would be 43 years before UGA travelled outside of the South to play another. At Arizona State in 2008.

Hurricane Bowl. Game was postponed until after the Auburn game. Derrick Thomas had a school record FIVE sacks on his way to what should be an NCAA record of 27 on the season. NCAA did not keep sack stats until 2000 and will not recognize DT's 27.

Yeah, I was going to say OU in 2002. We were 6-6 that year.

You're probably correct but it was #1 against, I think, #4.

For LSU, it's got to be 1993 Alabama. It was on the road and Bama hadn't lost in two years. And we sucked...Curley Hallman was our coach!!!!

I was at that game. In addition to the streak being broken, I had an awful hangover and it was an early game.

Michigan was to have returned the favor by coming south to play in Athens, but after that loss Michigan never reciprocated. They've also spurned a couple of overtures from UGA in the past 20 years to schedule a home & home series. Sad...would love to see Michigan come south to Athens to play the Dawgs.

Georgia was actually ranked #10 in that game and as another poster pointed out you went 43 years before traveling outside the South again for a regular season game so why in the hell are you talking crap about Michigan? Georgia was notorious for not traveling outside the South to play big games

and Stallings got so disgusted with qb play, he kept putting Palmer in at qb, and just kept running it.

1980 Alabama game off the top of my head for state

I was at that game with my Dad. Bama had a 22 game streak over State.
A 26 game SEC winning streak
A 28 game overall winning streak.
Bama was headed towards their third straight National Championship.

State was 7-2 and we were a good team but obviously were heavy underdogs that day. It was game dominated by defense and State won 6-3 after forcing a Bama fumble at the goal line in the waning seconds to preserve the win.

It was the loudest I have ever heard a Stadium (game was at Memorial Stadium in Jackson). It was absolute bedlam at the end as the fans were going crazy.

Hey, Alabubbadumbass...sounds like you're obsessed with us, now. I'm talkin' "crap" 'bout Michigan because I...CAN. We beat them at their place, something ALABAMA'S NEVER DONE, dumbass. Wanna talk crap 'bout that??

Let’s talk about how Georgia for 43 years after that game didn’t play a regular season road game outside the South. That’s embarrassing but being a Georgia fan I guess you are used to that

Who gives a crap, but you? Not embarrassed at all. Florida has gone much longer doing the same thing, not to mention barely leaving their state each year.

When's the last time you left your outhouse? When's the last time you didn't have sex with your cousin? When's the last time you visited the dentist? When's the last time you opened your mouth without spitting half your food through your two front teeth?

As an Alabubba fan, you should be embarrassed.
