Where's a Huston Street when you need one?

We have a guy that's as good or better than Street (Volantis). Schloss just needs to return him to his closing role. Better to have the option of putting him in multiple games in critical situations over a weekend series rather than just one outing.

Don't taunt if you can't back it up. He deserved it. Hopefully he'll learn from that.
We have a closer problem. Rest of the team is solid.

I actually think the grass may have played a small role here.. he has played on bouncy turf all but 3 games so far this season and was probably used to a bigger bounce on a ball like that.. the advantage at home goes the other way on grass

no excuse for it, but maybe true

While I agree (if the goal is to win the SEC) I’m not so sure it that simple. We should be able to host and maybe even get a national seed as it is.. Volantis as the closer pushes those odds up imo

But what helps you more if you get to Omaha? You gotta have really strong starting pitching once you get there.

Idk the answer to that question.

That being said, we’re likely 20-1 if Volantis is the closer though..

I'm fine with him showboating because he does back it up, last night's frickup notwithstanding. And he was the only reason we had a chance in the first place.

Rodriguez on the other hand acts like Juan Soto at the plate and is barely hitting better than Tinny.

I'm still on the fence about Becerra staring down the pitcher after every walk

To be fair to the kid, I don't think it was that bad. He certainly didn't get near the 2022 Vols level of taunting.

You can be sure the fans out there while he was in center field weren’t exactly whispering sweet nothings into his ear all game lol.

Probably just welcoming him to Auburn. We're nice like that.

You’re not very good with logic are you?

So you are saying, losing the first game means you are on track for losing the series

But that only applies to certain teams, and not to others in your mind…

We aren’t supposed to be a good team. You are. However, Texas is mentally weak

Texas lost the first game against ole miss and then cooked them the next 2 games. They get the benefit of the doubt. Aggy hasn’t done anything to show that.

And even if both teams lose today, Texas still has a series win and Aggy doesn’t.

And, I think Texas can still turn this series around. Looks like I wasn’t wrong about Aggy so far but yall have 6 innings to get something going.

Poor little kid

A Utrans player, bragged and taunted, and then let the slow rolling ball go through his legs and cost his team the game

You guys really are fragile snowflakes

In the parts of the 3 games I saw, there were 3 “hits” on balls that took a funny bounce or the player slipped on the grass.

That’s baseball.

You are projecting Marge..... Texas absolutely doesn't care about y'all except when we look at the scoreboard we frequently laugh but trust me we're laughing at you not with you.

It's y'all who fellate the teams that do that which you cannot do latest being Ole Miss basketball in the SECT

Never change...
