Faurot, many bad things there over the decades.

Worst luck: War Memorial
Best luck: War Memorial

You are correct. I would also go with AU @ Death Valley and Bama @ Jordan Hare.

Since we joined the SEC?
Probably our own.

tiger stadium. in 2013 everyone made a big deal outta robinson keeping evans in check, but he didnt. evans burned his arse on several occasions but johnny was playin with a bad thumb and just couldnt connect.
Meh. We won the two game in Baton Rouge before that. The swamp kittens only have 3 wins all time at Kyle Field. We've won 10 times in Baton Rouge.

I would guess that JHS and maybe BHGS are the only venues in which Alabama has a losing record.
BHGS? Alabama doesn't play in Gainesville often but has only lost there twice -- 1991 and 2006.

Simple....Shug Jordans place. We always have had hard time there...even Spurrier teams. 2001 is still fresh in my mind....Rex Grossman was qb, on ESPN at night and wind was howling up to 40 mph gusts. AU was mediocre that year...didn't matter. They played hard and we had no rb since Ernest Graham had been injured...so we threw and threw into the wind and Rex never saw a half foot opening 35 yds away that he didn't think he could hit...arching passes would look like ducks hit by .410 and wobble into the arms of AU dbs. AU library caught fire while games was played and we got burnt. AU may not have reached 200 yds of offense that game....didn't matter. We had more turnovers than an eastside German bakery in NYC.
All we had to do was handoff to anyone and play AU tough on defense to win...but nope. Jon Hoke the DC was blamed by stupid Gator fans for the L and even though we finished 9th in the country in total defense...he was the punching bag. Fans wouldn't dare blame the HBC.
2006 BCS title year our only loss was to AU in Shugs place. Refs screwed us good in that one. No instant replay to overturn critical turnover call.

We're 5-1 in the last 20 years at Deaf Valley
So I'm going to say it has to be
Faurot field in Columbia, MO

AU Barney Fife's unleashed the pepper spray on the fans that night with those winds. Ended up getting in people still in the stands eyes.

Does Everbank in Jax count?
If not, probably Williams Brice recently but I don't know if you can exclude this in this thread.

. If I remember correctly, Alabama has only won there (JHS) 4 times since the move from Legion Field?
And strangely enough, until recently, Alabama has had bad luck in BDS against AU. That was always one of the most bizarre trends to me.
For AU, it is definitely Tiger Stadium. No doubt about it. Though, it is more of a curse than bad luck. We brought it on ourselves.

Are you talking about when Tray Blackmon stripped Chris Leak late in the 4th? There was definitely a review done for that.

that also has to do with the fact LSU played A&M in Houston, Dallas, Galveston, Miami, etc. LSU is 3-7-1 in College Station. A&M is 10-23-1 in Tiger Stadium.

Less about "bad luck" and more about shitty teams. Alabama and Auburn didn't start playing in Tuscaloosa until 2000 (not counting a couple of games from like the 1800s).
Not coincidentally Auburn's success in Tuscaloosa corresponded with some pretty shitty years for Alabama (the Dubuse - Shula years) and some pretty good years Auburn in the early 2000s.
Alabama lost in 2000. That was an awful 3-8 Alabama team that flat quit on Dubose. Auburn had a solid 9-4 team. (Auburn 1-0)
Alabama lost in 2002. That was a decent Alabama team that was on probation. Did finish 10-3 with the extra Hawaii game. 2002 would count as a mild surprise, nothing noteworthy though. (Auburn 2-0)
Alabama lost in 2004. That was another lousy 6-6 Shula team. Auburn was 13-0 that year. (Auburn 3-0)
Alabama lost in 2006. Another lousy 6-7 Shula team. Auburn was 11-2. (Auburn 4-0)
Alabama won 36-0 in 2008. Saban's first Iron Bowl in Tuscaloosa. (Auburn 4-1)
Auburn won in 2010. Two good teams in a close game. Maybe a small surprise but nothing major. Auburn was 14-0 a national champions with Cam Newton that year after all. (Auburn 5-1)
Alabama won 49-0 in 2012. (Auburn 5-2)
Alabama won 55-44 in 2014. (Auburn 5-3)
The Tuscaloosa Iron Bowl Record is pretty much explained by clearly better teams winning with the exception of a couple of "toss up" type years. Not surprising that Dubose, Fran, Shula were 0-4 in Tuscaloosa and Saban is 3-1.
