The final roster isn't set until Friday. That's when we'll know.
I predict LSU doesn't roster these guys, too big of a risk.

I think it's pretty common; I'm sure they sign some type of waiver. From what I can tell, Wright was the only questionable player that practiced.

That's why I was asking. Being a business owner, I'm always thinking about how to mitigate liability. People will sue for anything nowdays.

Yeah, there's no question there.
If the players get their injunction, then it starts to get dicey. I think the players still likely don't get rostered though.

Not a one and we don’t plan to. If the SEC & CFP say we have the greenlight on Thursday, it’s done. Plain and simple.

I agree I don't want a precedent set that players that go pro can come back, but let's not act like the NCAA is innocent when they changed the eligibility rules a month after the NFL draft. The NCAA is like a government agency that deals with repercussions after the fact instead of properly planning beforehand. Just my 2 cents.

You can practice with guys not on the roster.
LSU’s official roster is due Friday, the day before their first game.
That is another rule that needs to be amended. They need to standardize it. The deadline for rosters for all teams should be the day before the first college game. And they need to standardize the date a player can enroll in a school, now it is all over the board. Some are past that date, some are not. But we don’t need to burn the whole sport of college football down over it.

This is friggin great for college football. Maybe not in the way you think. This will hopefully cause everyone, in all conferences, to take a deep look at what college football has become and maybe, just maybe be the start of some serious rules to stop what has become wild. Then we can stop being Repubs and Demos and just be fans again.

With with rosters due by Friday… It’s something like a 24 hr window to make that decision.
